Seriously based on what you've said about your experiences in moving to Newcastle you would find France a difficult place to move to. The difference in attitude I get when people realise I'm Irish and not English, as they'd assumed, is pretty astonishing (and unfair). I know plenty of English who've settled in here happily but you'll need to be a little bit tough and that can be harder with a language barrier. As for racism, there are serious problems over here and in my experience it's probably rawer that the UK in many areas but that could just be timing.

I must say, as much as I hate this shit the idea of torturing them I can not handle. Could anyone on here really do it, and believe me I'm not getting high and mighty about it, I'm considered cold, but I couldn't torture someone (unless it was for enough money, obviously).
