I didn't ask for anything for free, it was part of my package when I had Sky. That wasn't really my point, any movie channel that supposedly takes quality as seriously as it purports to can't show movies in that format; it's absurd. They do have a bigger brand to think of, so shutting down the channel completely should maybe have been a realistic consideration.

I realised I could get Film Four last night, flicked through and ended up watching Lost in Translation again. I realised it's a film I would give 10/10, there's nothing to fault about it. Actors - perfect, so many little things to enjoy, I'm usually bored senseless by love stories, but this one was interesting on so many levels. On another note - I heard Film Four have promised not to drop their standards and will continue to show high quality movies, and they're running ads through them - well done for literally butchering all the high quality movies you're showing, for fuck's sake!
