I quite liked the Face Off reference. Still a cunt*, like. *When's Cath back btw? I've been having a field day while she's been away.
2. You've got a cheek insulting NO tbh.
3. Aye, but Joss Whedon isn't exactly a film producer; he's honed his skills on long plot-arcs and character development over the course of a series, not a two-hour film. The film would have been more in-depth if you'd had the back story which is in the series. 175807 I must say I think Buffy and Angel were very well done, not really my kind of thing but I've got to respect it. Serenity just seemed...shiny.
4. I haven't seen Firefly, but wasn' that what Serenity was based on? One of the most vaccuous movies I've ever seen!
5. You started a conversation and then buggered off, I think that's the point people were making tbh. 175746 Well, there wasnt anyone on the board at the time. You had 4 good answers with 6 minutes of your post, hell even Alex managed more than a smiley! It has fuck all to do with what part of the World you're in. I never stated that people dislike Luque because he is Spanish. But overseas players often get stamped with the 'lazy greedy foreigner' remark. It doesnt have to mean anything, but people just seem to blindly say it these days. So they don't give him time because he's foreign. Aren't you just arguing semantics? Why do you just cut off a single line from my post and concentrate on it? Because it's the crux of the issue? I accepted that luque has been lazy at times this pre-season, but then almost all of our players have been. How many times did we go to sleep against PSV? Its not fair to single luque out like that. And I dont really bother about friendlies, sometimes players dont just go all out in these games because they are afraid of getting injured before the new season. Luque has recovered from a bad injury, imagine if he pulled up again during a friendly game worth nothing. Im not encouraging this attitude, im just saying its understandable. Now if a game held some meaning, and luque didnt give a shite that would be worrying. Im not saying Luque will be the next Shearer or anything, just that we havent seen him enough to pass judgement like that. He's shown flashes of brilliance already. Perhaps only Henry could score a goal like the one he did against Lillestrom. :D So its not like he's been terrible like some people say. Judging someone on the back of a performance in one friendly is absurd. I keep saying this again and again, he's not been given a proper outing! Lets judge him once he's had the chance to prove himself!!!!!!!!!!!! 175796 I'll leave you to it.
6. I've got it on my computer, I don't usually bother with them but I reckon the extras on that DVD would be worth while.
7. Garth Marenghi's Darkplace hasn't had a mention yet.
8. I'm only on the computer because I'm working, so yes pretty hard.
9. Oh, and... You started a conversation and then buggered off, I think that's the point people were making tbh.

Isegrim

Have a good one!
11. Not especially, I'd rather be out and about than still working, like.
12. So work rate doesn't concern you? I would say if Shearer had "only" scored the goals he scored for Newcastle, and done nothing else, he would have been half the player he was. Looking interested and working hard is part of what every player has to do, how long would you imagine it will take him to "adapt" to that? There's a lot of people who've voiced their concerns and shown they're quite obviously nothing to do with his nationality, do you now accept you were wrong about that? Do you accept that Luque's future is still in doubt, and that it is therefore a bad idea to cup-tie him?
13. How self-obsessed to you have to be to search for your own username when you log into a site?
14. Shit, I've just remembered that I'm sending my brother to Boston to see Steely Dan at the end of the month, for his birthday. I hadn't realised that this was going to affect anyone close to me...burn them all.
15. The girlfriend just flicked on the TV, first time I've seen Alf Stewart in years, first words out of his mouth? "Stone the flamin' crows." The man is a legend!
16. Last time I tell yiz anything. I'm not in the least bit embarrassed, but I like that song anyway, which makes it worse. At least I've never painted my nails...
17. I couldn't disagree more, the only time I ever get that feeling of stretched time anymore is during a workout. Weights are fine, but an hour stretch on the bike feels like a year. How are you supposed to occupy your brain? I actually broke a couple of bikes because I couldn't cope with the boredom.
18. He's still a damn site better than his peers, like. Shame there's so few politicians that aren't power-hungry corrupt cunts to pick from.
19. I quite liked the look of him. I fancy we'll beat them by 3/4 at home, no worries.
20. (aimed at Bobby, not the post above! )
21. Seems to crave attention desperately, doesn't really bother me. His attempt to be down with the kids in Celebrity Big Brother was always going to backfire. You'd have to have an ego the size of a planet to believe you could hide your conniving soul from that many people.
22. Aye, very underrated as an actor, too. The critics who said they couldn't tell Andy Millman and David Brent apart want shooting. One of them has a goatee for a start...
23. I don't know, before the World Cup I thought there was an argument for keeping him in the team ourely for his set pieces and crosses. During the World Cup I saw something that made me believe he was unhealthy for the team as a whole. Either way, I think McClaren is brave to do it, even I was raging with Eriksson's complete lack of balls by the end, and I'm not an England fan. EDIT: Purely on playing ability I would have to wonder how the fuck Jenas is in there ahead of him, but I suspect it's about more than just him playing ability).
24. I wonder how long it will take for a dislike of Seinfeld to be considered anti-semitic. Seriously!
