Looking to pick myself up some new poker books this week. No Limit - Theory and Practice, Sklansky and Caro's Book of Tells looking likely. Anyone got any thoughts on those, or other recommendations? I'm like a kid at Christmas, waiting for Bill Chen's new book (how sad is that?!), so if anyone knows where I can get a copy quickly, one grandmother going cheap. Oh, and can anyone tell me if there's any point getting the original Super System if I've read Super System 2?

Nothing dodgy, just a facial.

On a related note, who on here still refers to them as "gollywogs"?? If you mean black people, then yes, I do.

Some of the stuff Aki Riihilahti wrote used to have me in tears, lunatic: http://www.akiriihilahti.com/en/news.shtml

How do you freestyle John Barnes?

It's not worth fighting because the system doesn't work; that shouldn't be his burden. I agree with the last bit.

Do you think it's possible a joke may have gone over your head?

I went through a stage of avoiding the score before watching Football First.

Professional foul, which if missed, would have led to a goal. Cheating = straight red, or it should...or maybe a kick in the face.

At this point, I can only assume he intends to travel back in time to change history. Good to hear he's "mystified" by the situation, as he hasn't changed anything, and by the sounds of it will continue to change nothing. Jesus Wept!

About 6 million apiece.

As far as I can gather, it's a service that offers to have people who are generally worse at using search engines than you are, to not find what you're looking for, for you. I'm considering launching a low-cost competitor, completely manned by Indians, who have no idea what you're talking about in the first place, let alone how to find it. Any investors?

This is highly suspect, next time you see him in the officer's quarters, just casually throw a bit of English into the conversation, catch him off guard, see how he responds.

It's certainly a little different, it's kind of a lot less subtle... and akward moments do seem a bit crowbared in just for the story's sake. yes, that's exactly what I meant, as soon as you step into series two, it has it's own feel and gets very entertaining. I'm glad you've clarified that, because I watched the first couple of episodes of the first series, and I thought it was horrendous. And I liked Steve Carrell in that other thing he did that time.

No that isn't true Do you think you could alienate me with your idioms, do you? Just in case my attempt at humour is being lost in translation, i don't actually think that you look like a Nazi officer, given that I've never actually seen you.

Something has to be done to let the peasants know there's a line that must not be crossed, even if it is only symbolic. I didn't think Piers and Hugo could be any dafter, but economy class Piers and Hugo are dafter; I bet her husband was sat in business class, pissing himself laughing at them, I know I would be.

Teaching the Dutch outfit how to use internet forums? Nice.

You've been DYING to say that since you thought of it on the plane, haven't you? What's are you doing in first class btw? Unless Piers and Hugo were slumming it.

I do not tbh I beg to differ, you're the spitting image!
