Aye, and most of them are horrific too. It's mostly just fun to rip the piss but if I can make my serious post of the year, the popularity of these kids' movies drag down the industry as a whole (by making the studios recycle it more and more). Though you're right that there's still room for Three Billboards and the like so maybe I'm just a snob. I don't mind them existing but I do mind them being very generously rated by supposedly serious critics. Between that and the infestation of fake reviews on IMDB it's getting quite hard to get honest reviews for genuinely worthwhile movies (and mediocre horror movies).
