  1. That Spreaker link more reliable than the official paid one btw.
  2. https://www.facebook.com/NewcastleUnitedTimes/videos/1195464743848121/
  3. In a slightly alternative universe, they've done the last 3 sides 10-0.
  4. I don't really agree with people about the front two right now. That side should have won by 3 or 4 on Saturday, but Gayle/Diamé had off days. Gayle at least has proven he can score at this level, and Diamé has looked ok to me the rare time I've seen him other than that match. Perez and Mitro haven't looked good this season for whatever reason, and Mitro didn't have the best time playing under Rafa for those 10 games last season. Also, Rafa thinks headed clearances from CDs are a strength of the English Leagues (Premiership at least) so he was always going to favour Gayle. Though then you can fairly ask the question, why the fuck did he keep/employ two big lumps?
  5. Substitutes: Matz Sels, Chancel Mbemba, Achraf Lazaar, Isaac Hayden, Christian Atsu, Ayoze Perez, Aleksandar Mitrovic
  6. Mick Lowes and John Anderson easily the best thing about this season. GREAT.
  7. I reckon CT is probably conflating the (regular) bubble with the (unprecedented) crash, because he has nfi what 2008 actually meant.
  8. Pointing out the irrationality of CT's arguments is like pointing out when your dog does a particularly messy shit tbh.
  9. Also the key, and massive, difference between Sanders and Clinton is her corporate cronyism, getting money out of Politics. Which Obama campaigned on and could do fuck all about, but spent all his political capital on Health Care.
  10. Must be my intelligent, analytical discourse. Didn't say further left btw, said as far left. I should, of course, go and back that up. You can argue semantics regarding the literal definition of ad hominem (and you are literally correct) but the core difference is attacking the person(s?), not the arguments. Which you've done quite a bit recently. Understand you're angry with the whole situation, just making a comparison. My opinions are mostly based on polls, not speculation, but of course, you may disagree with my conclusions.
  11. This is the point, though. The DNC were worried enough about Sanders to try and sabotage his campaign. Without that, and Super Delegates, he was unbelievably close, in the US ffs. In spite of his age, and being Jewish while being critical of Israel. He would have beaten Trump too. So the US was ready for a candidate as far left as Corbyn, even with the thoroughly racist and backwards South and (to a lesser extent) Mid-West. Surely a more progressive Britain could do the same? As I've stated before, we're moving away from the centre, and unfortunately, I think the fear mongers will win, but it's probably a necessary evolution. The populace is going to be a lot more fired up by 2020. And you can't cry ad hominem with the vitriol you spew about Corbyn supporters (16yo kids etc.).
  12. Would love to have seen him under even a half decent manager playing even half decent football.
  13. Comparing Shearer to Ben Arfa is fucking ludicrous (on any front). People go overboard criticising the fat, lazy waste of space. People also go way overboard defending him. Quelle surprise!
