Yes and not once have I let that blind judgement. Read through the posts and you will see that I agree with needing better defenders. He never denies his faults either. I`m pissed off with the attitude towards someone who has helped this club in bigger ways than the odd goal let in. I have previously mentioned in this thread. The Chelsea one that got us into 7th for the intertoto cup and the one that got us from intertoto to UEFA. Also the really good run of form during Souness time. Playing through injury when able and generally respected the club. Do any of you slagging Roeder off think that we can afford to let him go money wise? Not for shit let me tell you. I would understand if we had 4 top 5 defenders in our ranks but wake up we havn`t. IMO if Roeder let Titus go before Carr, Babayoro, Moore or Ramage he would need locking up in a mental institute. Have any of you thought that even if NUFC want rid that they stand to get alot more for him with a longer contract. If Bramble went before Luque and other poor players in our team then our board would be stupid. As someone said earlier in this thread there are far worse players on bigger wages than Bramble in areas with more cover too. Try thinking before you type.

I`m sorry but he is better than Babayaro and Carr. Ramage is too slow. Moore is gone in 6 months. Solano is wasted in RB and needs to be on the wing, Milner proved this against Spurs. Taylor, Huntington and Edgar all look good but need a year or so coming in and out of the team gaining experience. The young players need to learn consistancy first before we can rely on them, Huntington proved this against Brum, Milner against spurs and Zoggy this whole season. If we had alot of money and it was the summer then yes look around for better but as it is he a NUFC player and people need to lay off the abuse. I'd be getting rid of Ramage, Moore, Babayaro and Carr too ideally. And it's not like playing alongside Bramble is going to help the development of the younger players. The opposite will probably be the case. Ideally doesn`t work unless your Chelsea tbh and even they have trouble getting exactly what they want. Thats my point though, we need him. The state in which Souness left the club. Why are people being out of order to a player that knows his mistakes and his faults but wants to play for the club and IS playing for the club. Some of the abuse is OTT IMO. Lets say we don`t manage to get any defenders in this window. Lets say he sees this forum and reads some of this over-reactive shite towards him getting a contract that would probably be half the amount most of the first teamers are on. How is that going to encourage a player and help us. As for the development of the younger players he would help, he`s from the Ipswich academey. Its not like he will be taking them for confidence and concentration classes is it.

That's pretty true tbh. I think the thing with Bramble that forever saves him is that he has all the physical atributes to be a genuinely great defender (and even occasionally shows that), but equally his lack of concentration and incredible ability to make stupid mistakes that give away goals and will probably cost you 10's of points a season. I guess the managers all think "if only we can cut out the mistakes", but if that was going to happen it would have happened by now IMO. On the other hand his goal against Chelsea got us into Europe and the goal against Vent I think kept us in it. Not to mention the purple patch he had under Souness for a run of about 12 games before an injury in the uefa kept us in the prem that year. I have never disputed his lapses cost us or that we need a world class defender but reading through this your a bunch of wankers that don`t spot the countless errors costing points made by a lot of defenders and midfielders not just ours week in week out in all football games. Yes even the likes of JT makes mistakes!! Not like Shambles though!! His mistakes are many and varried, some being farcicle! The difference in price being about £48 million yeah I see your point, lets get FS to get the cheque book out.

They haven't got enough to really do him legally speaking. If the ref had heard it then it would be a different story. Yobo himself says he heard nothing iirc. The other thing is under English Law this kind of thing is still very difficult to prove and if Emre did take on the FA in a civil actiton with the full backing of the club he would win. They just don't have enough to avoid counter litigation. Yes I am a pretend lawyer. If he is found innocent Emre should sue those scummie Everton Kling-ons for deformation of character. Thats only funny if you look up the definition of how I spelt it. Deformation - The act or process of deforming. The condition of being deformed. An alteration of form for the worse. Physics. An alteration of shape, as by pressure or stress. The shape that results from such an alteration. Its not that funny that I only got a D in GCSE English though and whilst I was typing that couldn`t be bothered with a spell checker or dictionary. I have found out its spelt defamation now. I was laughing at the fact of your mis-spelling and the nature of your mis-spelling tbf. Yeah no problem I found it funny tbh. I even knew it looked a cunt when I typed it. I just couldn`t be bothered to sort it out.

Out of it totally the kid, overweight and can't pass piss & wobbles like a weeble Going by the commentaor's mention of names during the plays you'd have thought Pattison wasn't even there, I think his name was mentioned once in the second half. He just hasn't got it! To be fair watching it on TV you would have seen he did more of a defensive job. I think he was asked to double up with Hunty on Chimpbonda and Lennon

Taylor is the best, but I am talking from a team shape or tactical point of view as I think good possession up front with a good back line communicating together can plug gaps and give you a decent defensive record. The best defenders in the country will struggle if the players in front of them keep surrendering ground and possession. Agree with all of that. I can remember the games this season when we had neither Martins or Dyer and an injured Ameobi. No thanks. We need another striker. Owen and Ameobi will probably still need a bit of next season to gain full fitness and sharpness. I would rather leak goals and score than get a clean sheet and no goals.

Agreed. Even though we might not have the scouting capabilities of Wenger, we can make up the grounds to certain extend by mnay other means. Expand the academy - which is what Roeder has done I believe. Buy promising youngsters (including Arsenal/Man U rejects). Well I bet many of us wouldn't mind Bentley, Pennant, Sidwell etc in our squad. For free, but for cash we havn`t got much of then no I wouldn`t want them. David Jones cost Derby a million. Paul McShane was a pawn in a deal to transfer Kuszczak to Man U. Jonathan Spector cost West Ham 500,000 £. At this rate (cheap) it would be mad not to cherry pick a few youngsters unwanted by Man U and Arsenal. We are a bigger enough club, well in our eyes to find our own Youth. We really shouldn`t waste time and money getting young players off other clubs. We should spend more looking on our own doorstep.

I don`t understand why you have written gloat in your post ? Are you gloating ? If so about what ?

I wish I hadn`t looked at the league table now. 6 points between us 15th to Spurs in 7th. So if we beat them today we go 11th 3points off 7th. Now I will be really gutted if we lose. I made a bet with 2 spurs fans down here that last season was a one off that they finished above us. I`m going to be seriously out of pocket if we don`t start winning.

OOOOOOOOk then..............

So is that the base or is the cheesy bit ginger and choc chip? Made the base with ginger snaps instead of digestives, and folded chocolate chips into the normal topping. Yum.. Now that sounds good. More birds should do chick stuff like cooking. I don't know what's wrong with me. I was hand-washing the cashmere jumper at 6.30 this morning. Have I woken up in the 1950's? I'll be making broth next Don't forget to blow the milkman when he calls... I don't have a milkman KCG - I haven't made broth for ages, but yeah I make it by boiling a ham shank (no wanking jokes please) til it's falling to bits then using the stock as the base for the broth with loads of veggies. If I could be arsed to go to Tesco I'd give it a bash but I can't The misses is making a broth/soup today, a recipe from her mum in Scotland. Uses Chicken Stock cubes and adds shed loads of veg. I never have any though, I don`t like drinking food.

That was my thought, maybe if we don`t get anyone in and the whole reserve team plus the academy players all get wiped out in a freak accident whilst the whole first team is injured GR might need to use him.

I agree with all of that especially the bit in bold. I thought I read somewhere Abramovich wasn`t going to get Hiddink unless Putin was happy with it ?

I can`t believe people are slatting him for having a go at the scummiest club in the prem. Abusive aggressive langauge happens 24/7 in football matches. I bet it wasn`t racsist. Fucking perfetic grasses in the Everton camp. I bet worse was said to Zidane through out the whole match that time he went mental. Even if it was racist ( not saying its right ) i know more offensive stuff is said during a match tbh. he just has the same sort of passion as Bellamy did but he is getting stick, so much for caring. I`m not 100% white and i`ve been called alot racist shit in my time and tbh it doesn`t bother me, some people need to get a life. I would rather be called racist stuff then someone use the your mother shite on me. It always makes me chuckle when white people go mental about this sort of thing like they know. It always sounds like they are just saying because its pc. Between players in an ill tempered match I think it should stay on the pitch. Now if he was out about around town saying shit then its wrong imo.

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that and wouldn't have posted it if I thought there was much chance of a board member knowing a victim. I feel prettyu bad now - lesson learned I think. I hav`nt taken it personally, I joke about other things not close to home but just letting people know they weren`t bad girls like your usual addicts.
