1. Right at their peak in my opinion, I was lucky enough to be at that Wembley show, a great day.
2. Stuff-and-nonsense! Has to be seen in the true context of him taking 1000 free kicks per game and missing nearly all of them by a country mile. Complete fluke! 35401 I saw Carlos play in the flesh last year and he put in one of the worst performances I have ever seen at the top level (Real Madrid). But you can't deny that free kick was possibly the best ever, and as I am sure he intended it, it was no fluk . 35408 Aye, he meant it like, but he must have been the most surprised person in the entire ground to actually see it go in. 35410 So, he meant it, but it was a complete fluke eh? You gobshite! 35411 Go and ask him to do it again 35412 On the basis that it was probably the best free kick ever, no one has done it before or since. Go and ask Shearer to do it 35421 Thats my point ! Shearer can do his rocket again and again !! 35429 Is that why it was his first goal in 17 Premier League games and most of his recent attempts have been hit straight at the wall? 35433 You're too demanding Alex, the style and techinque was all there........

4. Awesome as always, and would look even better with the background in grey or like your current sig.

6. Dunno if it's the same one but the one he scored in the 5-3 loss to man Utd (when Bernard scored with a cross) was some goal. 35375 Shearer vs Man Utd http://s47.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2C0CR4C...6N21MB4729BYXM4 Shearer vs Arsenal http://s47.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=35IGB0E...AQ2AQKTPZ68HPT6 35384 Far more impressive than the Roberto Carlos in La Tournoir
7. I felt exactly the same way when it started to be honest.
8. To be honest, from that sort of range it was the only selection of shot that was justified. Just a matter of finding the gap. Though having said that, having seen the replays I'm still amazed he managed to do that! 35344 Agreed, but its the fact he's done it time after time, he nearly always manages to "find that gap".
9. You can have your flouncey Beckham/Roberto Carlos swerving freekicks, its about time some credit and appreciation was given to the Shearer style rocket freekick. No need to cover your bollocks or make an attempt to jump if you are in the line defending a Beckham freekick, no bravery envolved at all, you know that fucker will swerve and bend and you'll be nowhere near it. A Shearer on the otherhand, you are going to face that ball coming at you at 100miles an hour and a good chance, if you are unlucky, your testicals might be on the end of it. Its high time the Shearer freekick got the credit it deserves.
10. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4259538.stm Face off becomes reallity ! Who's face would you want if you had to have a transplant ?
11. What he said. I do like Zog as he brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to our play imo. He's only young so, hopefully, he will have a great career ahead of him. Not seen nearly enough of Luque to pass judgement. 35287 What he said ! Madness to right off Luque, he needs time to settle, as did Zoggy !
12. http://www.rentaghostthemusical.com/ Does exactly what it says on the tin
13. yeah i've watched from the beginning and I'm loving it. I was afraid to post anything on here about it, not for the abuse i may get but rather I wasnt sure if the series had finished in the US and I didnt want someone to spoil it for me and telling me who'd won! so how's your fave jimbo? and can we now expect a career in telly for dave navarro? 34946 I loved Jordis from the start, I think she's got a superb voice and having a woman front the band would have stopped any comparisons with Michael Hutchence, and I was gutted when she we was kicked off the show. Personally I would love Mig to win, I think he's a brilliant performer, I can't stand JD, he seems a real tosser, Marty is good, but I think he would murder INXS's back catalogue. 35126 Yeah I think Sweet Suzy NcNeil would have been good in the band for that very reason! I cant understand why JD is still there! Surely they dont want a Michael Hutchence impersonator in the band, christ that would give them some street cred. Out of the remaining 3 I would say it has to be Marty as he's the only one who's really treated it as a band as opposed INXS. He wont be taken the piss out of and has plenty of ideas on where the band should be going. Trees is a catchy little ditto as well! I think Marty would help new people get into the band and he will change the sound of the back catalogue which i think is a good thing ( if you want the old inxs go and see a tribute band, or JD doing the clubs!) 35196 I don't like JD one little bit, I think he has been very tactical in everything he's done so far and because of that I don't trust a word he says, although I must say I thought his song, Pretty Vegas, is awesome and sounds very INXS. I'm not sure about Marty, he's a great lad and I love his song Trees, but I just can't imagine him either fronting the band or singing the back catalogue, although I think he would take them in a new more modern direction. I like Mig a lot, I think he's a brilliant performer and would make an awesome frontman, my only hesitance about him is his musical direction in terms of song writing, Marty is a better song writer by a mile. I hope its either Marty or Mig, but I'm leading towards Mig.

15. I said the same thing about 4 months ago and people laughed, Burley is clearly a great coach who can get players to play better.
16. I once wanked myself off in a hotel cupboard whilst hanging by belt around my neck !
17. Anyone else been watching this competition ? I've been following it from the start and next week is the final, to find the New lead singer of INXS, its been by far the best reality/talent competition I've seen on TV, some really great performers have been eliminated and there are now three left, and they are three awesome people. Can't wait for the final next weekend.
18. Oh, I thought it was going to be one of Bruce Willis's grubby white vests ?
