iTunes is as user-friendly as it gets, what's to loathe about it? I've said it before, but I don't understand these people that have constant problems with iPod batteries. Also, it doesn't play WMA files does it, which accounts for a lot of my collection? Do I have to convert these somehow, and will there be a loss of quality, and how long will it take?
