1. Care to explain? 55431 I think you know exactly what leazesmag was saying by his "us" and "our own" comments, seems like a few of us on here are waiting for leazes personal interpretation before jumping on him from their own personal moral high-ground. 55435 I'll admit that I am of the opinion that some of Leazes' opinions of foreigners seem a little dubious to me. He seems like a pretty sensible poster so instead of making assumptions and jumping on him I'd like to really understand what he's on about. That's why I asked for a detailed opinion. How that makes me facetious I'm not sure. For the record I would regard my opinions as centrist but there are a few on here who lump anyone who would consider anything other than burning criminals and raping their wives "bloody pinko commies." I genuinely fail to understand whether people think that certain races have a genetic predisposition to crime and whether they think that deporting all out problems is going to do anything other than create a fucking scary world outside of their imagined utopia. 55438 Fair comment !

3. Clearly the windsurfing holiday in the lake district would have been the better option for offenders such as this.
4. that is exaclty my situation actually, but i do have french nationality (since ive been 18) but then again as i'm not algerian, maroccan, then i suppose im lucky not to suffer from discrimination. You can sense tensions in a lot of areas, from what are second generations of immigrants. As a lot of youth are stuck in between two cultures/countries, promoting their differences in France whilst not being welcome in their country of "origin" anyway, im glad Bordeaux seems to be rather quiet. 55394 I lived near Bordeaux for a few months and I got the impression that while it's an industrial city it differs from a lot of the other large cities in it's racial breakdown. I'd be interested to get your view on that. I feel there's a very large racial element to these riots and these things work both ways. I think the reason it started takes the piss. I also have a very different opinion of France now than before I lived here, others may think as I did, it may be quite left-wing in some ways but it's very police-state in others. Leazes - I would like a really definitive idea from you as to who 'us' and 'our own' are to you? 55422 FFS what a facetious bunch we have on here today.
5. Yeah, 'cos 15 year-olds spend their weekends playing with Barbie dolls, don't they. Not condoning what he did, like, but I hardly think she would have had any innocence to rob. 54114
6. If the likes of Cardiff, Wrexham and Swansea can play in the English league, I don't see why Scottish teams can't too, however if they wish to join then they should start from the bottom and earn their way up.
7. A red Austin Metro 1.3lt The worst car in creation.
8. I was just going to pm Jimbo so we could meet up tbh 55267 Not now please, I'm too busy making a fuss.
9. It's a story because it's related to the riots which are pretty newsworthy at the moment. And it isn't just people who illegal immigrants who are being thrown out, it's any foreign nationals who have been convicted of rioting. Not that I am against the actions. 55258 FFS Alex, stop making a fuss will you !
10. Who's making a fuss? 55239 Well if I'm not mistaken, the story has made the news headlines and there appears to be some debate regarding the matter in this thread. 55241 Nobody is making a fuss about the actions of the French in this thread though are they? 55246 I just can't see why its a story ! So the French are chucking out illegal imigrants, hardly breaking news is it ? 55252 Agreed. Why are you making such a fuss about it? 55255 Who's making a fuss ?

13. Go watch some Spooks, its far more painfull than Cancer.
14. clearly been watching too much CSI. TBH
15. My god, are we agreeing at long last ?
16. I can't see what the fuss is about, all the French have said is that they will deport illegal imigrants found to have been involved in the riots. Where is the problem with that ?? The word forigners in the headline clearly indicates that those that they are refering to are not French nationals.
17. They should be sent on a windsurfing holiday to the lake district.
18. Morrsions Tortilla chips, gas masks at the ready !
19. No Scots for GB Olympic football There will be no Scots in the 2012 Olympic team Plans for a Great Britain football team at the London 2012 Olympics will go ahead without any Scottish involvement. The Scottish FA ruled out participation but have no objection to the other home nations forming sides for the men's and women's Olympic and Paralympic teams. England and Northern Ireland are in favour, while the Welsh FA, having initially opposed the idea, are now deciding whether to reconsider. Once they have made a decision, team selection proposals will be drawn up. The Scottish FA had been given written assurances by Fifa president Sepp Blatter that taking part in the 2012 Games would not affect their separate identity in world football. But the Scots fear that Blatter may not be in power in 2012 and his successor may have other views. An SFA spokesman said: "We are just being entirely consistent with the position we have held for years." London 2012 organisers had promised the first event of the Games - the opening football match - would kick off at Hampden Park, Glasgow, if the Scots supported the idea of a British team. The Great Britain team would be limited to players aged under 23 but three overage players would be allowed. Britain qualify automatically as Olympic hosts. But it is unlikely there will be a British Olympic football team beyond 2012, because no united British team plays in the European Under-21 Championships, which act as the qualifying tournament.
20. Whilst I hold very little hope for their new album its a shame people don't reserve judgement on it until they have heard it.
21. There are plenty of members of this board that I had wished had never made a post !
22. Did they make it into our 'Borderline' thread Jimbo? 54664 They are a good example of my boarderline standard.
