‘Nobody catches Liverpool if Liverpool keep winning’. Great insight there.

Great post. BTW I still have Miggy’s signed shirt that I drunkenly purchased. It’s yours for £250 +P&P.

Just tried that and got the year for £10 rather than £60. Nice one.

He did but at least he refused to wear it. Guehi wore it but countered it with a message about Jesus. If you're going to be a cunt then at least have the courage of your convictions. -

Guehi clearly broke the rules by putting a reference to Jesus on the armband. Instead of charging him the FA decided to 'remind him of the rules'. Well last night he did the exact same thing again so I'd expect him to be banned for it. I have a little bit more respect for Morsy for outright refusing to wear it as it certainly shouldn't be compulsory but don't use your religion as a shield for your homophobia. -
I agree, we definitely seem to be doing better against sides who give it a go and leave space for us to counter. Me giving this thread to Gemmill was a benevolent act. God knows he doesn't have much else going for him in life.

South Korea having a normal one.

I think Miggy is definitely being pushed towards a January exit and Trippier's head still doesn't appear to be right. Howe will know much more about what is going on and how their form is in training than we do so if he's opting not to choose that option then there must be a reason behind it.
-
Well let's think about it then. Where did the goals come from on the right hand side? None of them were scoring prolifically so let's look at assists. Almiron had three, Murphy eight and Trippier had 11. The problem is that Almiron has been shite for over a year now, Murphy was given a chance at the start of the season and offered nothing while looking well out of form when coming on as a sub since and Trippier's form fell off a cliff towards the end of last season and still hasn't managed to supplant Tino at RB. So yes it's obvious that we have major issues on the right hand side but you can't just go back to what worked before when the evidence shows you that it won't work now.

TBF to old Albert that card is fully deserving of an OMG.

At home to Bromley in the cup. Not bad at all.

It does look very bad but I from what I remember the prosecutors were singling him out because of who his father was by demanding jail time rather than accepting a plea bargain as is usually the case.

I’ll admit that I like to go through the archives on occasion but WTF?

Gemmill’s future ex-wife after seeing that match today:

It isn’t just that simple. Tactically we’ve failed to progress. Much of our early success was based on having on not having much of the ball and hitting teams on the break. If you look at our best results this season, against the likes of Spurs, City, Arsenal and Forest, they’ve all set up to have a go at us and as a result we’ve had chances. Our worst results have come against sides happy to sit deep and give us possession. We can’t seem to find a way to break these teams down. It’s a combination of not having the players capable of doing it and a manager unable to find a system that allows us to score against these ‘lesser’ sides.

I’m just supplying you with the rope. Normal service will be resumed shortly.
