Two days after he announces he's getting divorced? Talk about insensitive.
-
What a difference two hours makes.

Can you imagine how much spit came out of Gordon's mouth try to utter those words?
-
The Guardian's sub-editors still out on strike?

£11m bid in for Almiron from Atlanta. Can’t see us accepting that unless we get in more cover at CB.
-
Come on, they’re all at least in their fifties by now.
-
They just did. Keeper to defender on edge of six yard box, back to keep with an aimless punt up to Dubravka. What’s the point in that?
-
I’m amazed it’s taken them nearly ten minutes to mention Isak being sold.

So are Botman and…

No Schar and still Kelly doesn’t get a game. He’s only out through illness. No need to change your Tena men.
-
Four league starts and with all our other CBs coming back and you’re shitting yourself about losing him.
-
Unchanged from our last league match.

Except no one gives a fuck about your conditions. This is the sort of trading that our lord and saviour, Paul Mitchell, is talking about yet people who understand fuck all about finance just cry 'no!'.

MugWriter?

Aye and we might not get an offer close to that for him in the summer. If we don't get another CB in this window then it gives Eddie extra to get his top target in the summer. Cheer up a bit you pessimistic fucker.

FFS. 🤦♂️

But gives us an £11m profit on the player we have had for six months, is on big wages and has only four starts for us.
-
You can add Danny Guthrie to the list of dog shit midfielders we've had.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

I'm pulling the figures out of my arse but it's just to explain the strategy. Two years ago they were £150m short of the PSR requirement so sold a couple of hotels to their parent company, problem solved. Last year they were £150m short so sold their women's team to the parent company, job done. The problem they have is that the amortisation costs of the transfer fees they've spent are recurring at the same level over five years. Eventually they're going to run out of assets to sell to themselves. At least that's how it looks from the outside. The fact that they don't have a shirt sponsor this year would suggest to me that they're still very comfortable with their PSR position and have a few more tricks up their sleeve. -
And we get to bring ASM home for the rest of the season.

Someone was on the pinot grigio early this morning. "Oi, Eddie. Why are you such a boring cunt?"

Aye, the sale of the women's team hasn't been cleared yet as being of fair market value. If it's passed then I can see several other clubs doing just the same thing.
