Aye but you have to look at what he has achieved in the past and how he is remembered by those clubs, good managers aren't usually hated by the fans of their former club for footballing reasons. I just think it would be a huge risk to appoint him as manager though if we contine in this rich vein of form until the end of the season I could change my mind.

Lets not forget that Trevor Brooking was in charge for 3 games and earned 7 of those points, 35 points from 35 games isn't impressive at all. I know he had health problems at West Ham but when their supporters seem to have a particular hatred of him then you have to ask why?
