My sister drinks with Charles N'Zogbia on a weekly basis; he doesn't have a clue whats happening with the manager situation. 131308 Aye but to be fair he doesn't speak English, maybe if we all signed a big card for him and let him know how much we all loved him he might tell us.
-
To be fair Lovejoy didn't you say a couple of days ago that Houllier was nailed on for the job? As far as I understand you didn't get that from a NUFC player so who exactly do you believe.

For me Gudjohnsen is among the best players in the league. His ability to attack from just about anywhere is awesome. If Mourinho insists on not playing him up front and then brings in the likes of Ballack, then perhaps he is on his way. I'd be in like a shot. 130853 Someone was saying Man United are sniffing around him. There'll be better teams than us in for him, I'm sure, but I agree, the bloke is class. 130856 Yeah, me tbh. Man U have been after him for ages and they would be at the front of the queue should he become available. 130860 I very much doubt, Chelsea will not sell to Man U, they'd rather take a couple of million less and sell him to someone who is not a rival or in the same league.
-
Aye, both of them should be out the door. Neither are first team standard and the money we are paying them each week could fund four back up players' wages.
-
Hasn't justified his huge wages.
-
Hilton has more class tbh.

lol, I knew lots of people hated him on here, couldnt remember who. So that's one. 129678 I think it would be easier to count the people who don't hate him, the man is a walking knob end.

We let most of ours out a few years back.

My point is that you cannot afford to take a risk with three players, Cole may well come back and look like he's never been away but to take three players who haven't been match fit is a huge gamble.
-
give ower cole is fit, hes played in 2 reserve games and hes got 40 days to get himself match fit. 129904 So you would take a player who will have played a maximum of about four full first team games in eight months? Did you see how bad Wayne Bridge was against Argentina due to a lack of games? Its a huge gamble.
-
So you would start three players who are short of match fitness? (A. Cole, Rooney and Owen) Taking an unfit Beckham in 2002 was obviously a mistake and England certainly can't afford to have 3 players like that, Sven should leave Rooney and Cole at home.
-
Well its fairly safe to say he'll not be playing for us any time soon so its a moot point.
-
No my reasons are purely football, Joe Cole was a luxury player, drifting in and out of games, never doing enough to justify a starting place. Mourhino has turned his game around and has instilled a work ethic in him to be a top player, if he came to us he would undoubtedly go backwards to the Joe Cole of old.
-
I still wouldn't have him here.

Never a truer word spoke.

England's chances of any success in the WC are now gone. They will go on now to be hammered in their three group games and be an embarassment to the shirt (at least that is what the press would have you believe). Far be it for me to try and give England fans hope but there is more than one player in a team. England (fully fit) have a multitude of world class players, I personally rate a fully fit Owen, Cole and Lampard above Rooney and most logical people will not disagree with that. Rooney may be able to turn a game with one piece of genius but it is players such as those above who deliver every week in the PL. Owen and Cole provide good value to their country but Lampard has never looked comfortable, IMO that is solely down to the manager's selection of MFs. At the end of the day Rooney was only one player. It takes 11 to win a WC and from an Irish POV England still have as much chance of winnind it as they did at 12.45pm this afternoon.

Bruce easily wins the "Basil Fawlty Impression Competition".
-
If another team wanted him for free and were prepared to pay his wages I'd take their hand off but I can't see it happening.
-
He's taken them as far as he can. He's a mid-table manager at best, I just hope Freddy doesn't get any ideas.

Shay saves us again.

Boumsong to knock in the winner as super sub.

A prime example of why we will be playing Chelsea at the best time possible.

Disappointing from a neutral footballing perspective but couldn't have happened to a nicer lad.
-
I would be both shocked and appalled.

Wasn't he seeing a sports pyschologist or some sort of head fiddler to sort this "mental" problem out? May be starting to show some of the benefits in the last few games.
