Or absolutely no idea of how ridiculous he looks. Anyway it made me smile, so whats with all the Brock hating going on? Is it just the videos?
-
It could at least force him to get a proper haircut and shave.
-
Given that Arnesen was tapped up himself its no surprise to see him acting in this way.
-
Afraid not.... Thats a piss take. Whether contracted or academy its still tapping up and should be treated as a second offence. How the FA can justify such a ridiculous system is beyond me.
-
In his defence I imagine there's not much else in Reading to keep him occupied.
-
What about Chelsea? Is meeting with a player's agent technically tapping up? If so then surely they'll be docked 3 points.
-
Well the chairman wasn't squeaky clean either. He wants to be looking out himself. There's a big difference between taking illegal payments for signing a player and talking a bit of shite in the paper to placate your fans.
-
Aye, I thought I was the only one who caught that, the only surprise is that we were clever enough to do so.
-
The clue was in the quote all along.

I'm heading to the airport now looking forward to two weeks in the sun so fuck the lot of yous

My main memory of primary school is being away on a school trip and thinking it would be a good idea to piss out of the 3rd floor window into a crowded street. 5 minutes later a very disgruntled and rather damp doorman landed up to my room and hauled me downstairs where I spent the rest of the evening doing lines.

15? Not much younger than Brock whom you were unabashedly flirting with after your last night on the piss.
-
Power mad admins making decisions against the wishes of the forum and not even the decency to offer a month's trial. Thats it, I'm off to N-O.
-
All here for a laugh no doubt.

"Glenn Roeder finally landed his No.1 target last night in an audacious swoop for Frenchman Antoine Sibierski. Rumours that the manager was after a defender or striker are wide of the mark the club are well stocked in those positions with the emergence of young homegrown talents such as Taylor and Ramage and the £10million capture of Nigerian sensation Obafemi Martins who achieved his dream move to Newcastle recently."
-
Is this true? Surely with their 40% holding they're in a strong position to oust him from him chairman role at the next AGM which would be a huge embarassment for him and could lead him to selling up.
-
Or we could have signed an England international CB for nothing. If money was so tight then why the fuck weren't we in there for him? I suppose we "stood aside" again. Fuck the people in charge are really starting to piss me off.
-
I don't think you can blame Sibierski for coming. If you were sitting on the bench at City and suddenly the "5th best team in England" came in for you you'd be off like a shot. As for your other sentiments I'm in complete agreement.
-
I'm glad I went to bed at 11 content in the knowledge that everything was in hand and I'd wake up to find we'd signed two top-class players. This morning I wake up to find a post-apocolyptic scene. Well at least I managed to avoid the refreshing every 30 seconds to find out whether anything had happened.
-
I think we certainly had more than £16m to spend but it seems they were afraid to spend it. If we were limited to £16m I don't think anyone who isn't completely mentally retarded would splurge it on just two players. I'll put this disaster of a transfer window down to incompetency rather than retardation thought it is a close call.

A P45 hoepfully 189442[/snapback]

And blatantly offside.

Well its just caused us to have our most users online ever and the board hasn't crashed so thats one positive to take from it I suppose.

He only had a year left on his City contract though didn't he?
