Carroll is the only good englishman on the pitch to be fair, doing everything right

We beat those guys a few months ago! Even if ben arfa scored. Such a simple goal in my mind, benzema just allowed to do whatever he wants until he plays a simple 1-2 and is through.

Was working so i taped this and just finished watching it. Was it Barry Horne commentating again? Whoever it was is such a complete biased mong.

Its worrying when it doesnt work. Our subs are the likes of routledge and ranger. I like Ranger and if he can get his technique under control he can become a good player, he has the touch of a rapist still though, and should be nowhere near the kind of person we bring on when we need to chase a game. Need some more depth in January. We still were the best team though and their goals came from 2 defensive mistakes. And when that fattie gets the first goal you know how his team is gonna line up. Still, they defended very well, especially Samba did contain Carroll a lot, even though he had a good game. Might have helped if it wasnt considered fair play to hit Carroll in the face. Thought Jonas did a good job, and of course Carroll. Enrique and Colo did very well while I thought Simpson looked championship quality. Really disappointing to see Barton mong out again.

Thats the 3rd time someone headbutted/elbowed carroll in the face without a free kick.

I was so scared there, was sure he gave it.

Samba is dominating atm, they are just fouling us constantly and defending the set-pieces.

Ref seems to be a bit of a mong today, a few wrong decisions already for both teams.

His only fault, I wish he could just clear the ball sometimes.

Over the top target man. Should never get into the team ahead of Carroll and maybe not even Ameobi. I might have taken him for free to provide cover, but he would never agree to that. Cash money should be spent on something else.

Getting one after christmas, weighing up between ben arfa and tiote though, I believe!

I didnt even see tiotes foul, suddenly the play was stopped and the card was out. Its ok for Fabregas to come in late 3 times though.

Time for Nile Ranger to move into nolans and make a proper tv show.

He does win a ton of free kicks and penalties in dangerous positions for us. Saw him laughing with the refs at the start of the match yesterday, clearly setting out to get them on his side from the get-go! . His defensive contributions are amazing for a winger, and if its a choice between him and ben arfa id take ben arfa, but I would still value him immensely as a squad member. I would prefer to just drop shola for ben arfa who can play centrally behind Carroll anyway if everyone is fit.

This season is the most lively/awake/up for it i've seen him, he's got in the team and deserves to stay there, he clearly enjoys playing off Carroll and played a full part in todays win. Thought he was back to his usual lazy performance today. He covered plenty of ground, and occupied defenders often enough, and he was available in the channels to recieve passes and hold it wide, if it wasn't Shola i don't think you'd be saying that, and i'm not a fan of his, but he did well today. Thought Shola did well today personally, had some good touches and combined well with the midfield. My minus is that when we did get round today both him and Carroll were often too slow to get into the box.

Another team bites the dust, it was hilarious watching sagna whining to the ref after the finish, both Clichy and Fabregas would have been sent off today if they werent at home in a top 4 side and koszielnys red was clear as day. We were the best team and fully deserved it. Krul - 10: Did everything right. Whole back 4 - 10: every single one did their jobs, Enrique easily matched Walcott for pace. Simpson is starting to look like an impressive weakest link. Tiote - 10: I was really looking forward to seeing him play a great midfield side for once after dominating every other sub-par team we've played. He just dominated the fools. Nolan - 8: Great day at the office in midfield, did his job even though he wasnt on the offense too much. Jonas - 7: Did very well defensively. Offensively he played one of the best right backs in the world who also seemed faster than him. In the end I think he did well today. Barton - 7: Awful passing in the first half but his intent was always good. He came too in the second half and had a good game. Shola - 8: He did well. Linking up besides Carroll seems to work. Carroll - 9: Could have gotten more than one today, his touch seems a bit raw still but he worked immensely hard defensively and took his goal well. Also continues to show he can run with the ball. Ranger - 9: Seems a very good tactical choice in the last 10 mins from Hughton. He has massive energy and could easily have gotten a goal, instead he got koszielny sent off! Cant wait for the post-match interviews

Has anyone noticed how whiny the whole of arsenal are, after the wilshere tackle on barton they basically berated the ref for ages cos he got the ball first. It was a clear free kick tho, Barton was still running past him and going for the ball and he just put his foot up to tackle him. Clichy would probably have been sent off if his name was Joey Barton.

Great performance by most of the team, especially tiote and simpson for me. Carroll has done very well with the ball at his feet in addition to the goal. Barton needs to find his passing/crossing/set-piece boots.

I have a good feeling aswell, might just nick it if we can get some crosses in.

I doubt perch is gonna get to face walcott again, we saw how that went

On a very very good day we can take them.
