Carroll wins it for me, without him we'd have about 3 goals. Its amazing just how good our 4 best players are though. Carroll Enrique Tiote and Barton are all probably among the best in the division at what they do. Ben Arfa should be pulling up trees if he recovers before the season ends too. Then theres Nolan and Colo who are also very good. A little bit of investment and this team could prove to be something.

Well alot of our chances have come from awful back passes. Not saying Ameobi hasnt been involved, most of the time he just gets the ball then loses it rapist-style and its away.

Liverpool have been shit, and Torres has been invisible and world-cup-esque. Loads of shitty passes we have taken advantage off. 10 of our players have done well, Ameobi has been woeful. If we get any decent striker to play along Carroll, preferably someone quick, we could be coming round that left flank alot and getting balls in to Carroll.

Noone can do a decent set-piece but Joey Barton, at this moment he is probably our most important player after the obvious Carroll, Enrique Tiote. If we get another set-piece taker in then fine, but we wont. And at present he is even worth his ridiculous wages. Ive had enough of watching Danny Guthrie.

Never rated Guthrie at all. He is extremely lazy. His set-pieces are inconsistent, and thats supposed to be his strenght. His passing has been pretty shit this season aswell. Even in the championship he would have games when he looked like he could barely keep the level. Central midfield is still not the first position I would strenghten in, but it should be looked at. Hopefully we will buy a new one when Alan Smiths ridiculous 50k a week contract ends.

Tiote was quite good today and enrique had a great game. The rest were pretty shit with the standouts ameobi jonas and an utterly shit guthrie. Simpson didnt have that bad a game either mind, nor did Routledge.
