Funniest moment in this match was when they made a human pile on Tiote, then Harper jogs on and doesnt dare jump to crack any of his old bones, gently lies down besides him with a huge grin on his face, seen it like 5 times now and I cant stop laughing at it.

Its gonna be like this for years tho isnt it. In the summer we will buy some cheap striker like Odemwingie, maybe try for Carew on a free. I just cant see us spending say 10m on a proven good striker. And even if we do, its gonna be the same bunch coming on the pitch every time hes injured. There is a tiny hope that Ranger will become a good striker one day but personally I just cannot see him learning the game.

I hope Pardew realises he needs to stop using him as a winger now. It was terrible watching him putting in crosses against west-ham and seeing Hangeland head them out again unchallenged while Best and Ranger just stood there. He probably still will use him as winger tho. Since our only winger is Jonas.

Noone wants to carry the ball, hence we just pass it to the left every time for Jonas to run at them. He has won a decent amount of fkicks and corners but we look about as deadly as a teddy bear infront of goal. Either that or we lob it up to either Ranger who just flicks it on to nowhere, or Leon Best who is equally pointless. Atleast the defence seems to be working, I cannot wait for Tiote to be back. I dont really understand how Van Der Vaart can be that much of a cunt on the football pitch either. Its like the occasional dive in a dangerous position is normal for a cynical player, which is what I thought he was. He is just an idiot though, whining at every little touch and staying down for ages every time someone touches him. In the end that makes a ref just not believe you are ever tackled at all. I was delighted when he fell over and gripped the ball only to get a hands decision against him. Didnt see him get a yellow for it though, I thought that was the rule on deliberate handball?

We just need someone who actually has pace and a bit of skill. At the moment we have only raw pace or Donkeyboys. I thought Shola did well today, but we need a technical striker to bring on there other than Ranger. Tuncay would be enough if we have no money, and he can hardly cost the world.

Van Der Vaart is a disgrace, he really is. It was the same last time out, if anyone touches him he goes down and stays down like a girl. I think they are missing palacios almost as much as we miss Tiote, and we can nick this while we can just aswell lose it. Jonas has actually put in a couple of good crosses, while being rather shite with his dribbling. Ameobi and best have put themselves about, while still finishing like defenders. Spurs doesnt have much play but when they come they just look far more dangerous than we do. Hopefully we can get some corners or something and fuck them up with that.

I think we are gonna lose this one. Tiote and Carroll are two huge absentees. We'll give it a good go and lose 2 - 1.
