This is basically the view I dont get. Obertan did put in a great shift last time out, but there have been many games he has just been wandering about, pulling out of challenges and walking off the pitch without having broken a sweat. I dont buy him being the 2nd Jonas until he actually puts in that effort for a few consecutive games. Also the Ben Arfa being lazy part, I understand he isnt a physical beast ala Jonas, but ive not seen him walk around lazily, against Blackburn for example he did run back quite a bit when he lost the ball, despite having an awful game.

Howard Webb is such a non-biased top notch premier league referee. Not that I mind today.

You can see his decision making isnt top notch and he is never going to be a world-beater in terms of creating chances and scoring wondergoals. But his work-rate was top notch today, and he did worry the opposition a bit. His spell on the bench seems to have given him a kick up the arse. He had a decent enough game.

With Squidward and Jonas providing the bullets? Well Ba has been banging them in with those guys, and mostly had Leon Best as a partner, see no reason for him to stop. Though I think Ryan Taylor is ahead of Obertan in the pecking order now. Whether Pardew will go for him or Benny on the wing remains to be seen. I expect the 2 strikers to combine very well if Cisse lives up to his reputation.
