One of the few times the Bosman ruling would actually work for the club currently holding the players registration tbh

You know what? On reflection i take it back about Dyer He was ok, nowt special apart from a great run and and shot on goal. Thought some of his movement gave Emre some space and i thought he tracked back often. Otherwise he just kept the ball moving. Kept Bridge quiet though i suppose you could say the opposite as well -

Fact is, we had 2 good chances to score in the 2nd half and didn't. After that Solano got exposed for not being a good fullback and Butt had to cover and did foul him imo. Wasn't sure if Given was unlucky or at fault for their goal. We should have had a penalty late on though (push in Sibs). Postives: Emre looked good imo, especially with some movement in front of him, Milner did ok and Dyer looked dangerous at times. Never been a big fan of Bridge and today didn't change my mind, lacks pace and agility and is hardly a fearsome tackler, got a good left foot otherwise i'm not too sure why he's so rated. -
PM please!

I'd go for Viduka or Davies. Viduka might come good and has the best potential, Davies because he's a real team player and a great professional, better footballer than given credit for and fantastic and subtle dirty fouls that disrupt the CB's. I agree about Roberts, though he looked a great partner for Owen when he was at Wigan. Sincerely hope our scouts have come up with more options than these though! -

Don't you think Martins should do more to receive the ball? I thought before that you were suggesting a big target type. I was thinking that if we couldn't sign a clever player then at least we should sign some muscle, only Beattie, Viduka and Davies spring to mind in the 'Maybe Available' bracket. I thought that any combination of Dyer, Zoggy, Duff and Milner could do lots of effective running if we have a lump who we can stick the ball to. I doubt we'd have the budget for a target man who's moblie and can finish, Drogba and Adriano are the only 2 i can think of who fulfill all those roles tbh! I think we have to assume we won't get a regualr scorer in Jan, more of a support player or Big Lump. What do you think? If you had to choose between Beattie, Davies, Viduka, Crouch and Tevez who would you want? I'd be worried that the other Liverpool players are making Crouch look good. I'd probably say Beattie, just for the aerial ability and power - i think we lack that atm. -
Signing a new contract means nothing nowadays. Might well include a minimum release fee.

Which games did you see these signs of improvement in then Leazes? Sheffield United? Charlton? You never said anything at the time (and would have correctly been regarded as mad if you had), and you've never answered the question since I asked it either. I fully expect you to come up with some random bullshit now though, rather than answer a simple question, as is par for the course for a complete moron like yourself. even after the games against Man City, Arsenal, Celta Vigo and Pompey you couldn't see how much better we were ? Ha ha, what a fucking thick cunt. Go and join Dan the brain in the idiots corner. http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?...mp;#entry239627 Never banned anyone on here for constant abuse before, but I'm considering it with you. Stick to the debate at hand, less of the insults. it takes two to tango mate, I suggest you look closer to home ie your chums Ref your post above, yes of course I like it when I'm right. Don't you ? As I point out though, its not difficult calling things correctly, sometimes its just a matter of looking at facts, and realism, and just having a mind of your own to make a conclusion. Which is why I usually am ....... I've got a genuine question for you. I respect your opinion on football. Do you trust Roeder to sign the kind of forward we need, even if it has to be a budget job? A lot of people (you included i think) were a bit surprised by Martins lack of quality, especially for £10M. Shearer saying on MOTD that he didn't think Martins was a natural goalscorer probably didn't help anyone's confidence either. However, we've all seen the lad get better over the weeks. Hw works well with Sibs which is good (well done GR). I think we need a Sheringham type striker, i think they'll bring the best out of each other. Sibs is doing a very good impersonation atm but we need someone better eventually. Do you think Roeder has the nous to spot the right player? It's always a risk if you haven't much to spend, can't think of an obvious choice myself, not the cheap version anyway. -
In future fixtures. I meant more if his injury is serious. Ah, sorry.

I think it fallacious to claim that we've lacked fight recently. Utterly. No, just in that game. We were winning against 10 men but were having a crisis of confidence. They didn't pull themselves together and play to their advantage. That is a question of character imo.
-
I just don't think our players have got any fear of Roeder. If they had they'd fight harder than that i reckon.
-
All 10 man Blackburn, what a gutless bunch we are
-
Total inabitilty to make an extra man count, as usual...
-
Commentator on 5live just saying 'Roeder decided to play Zog wide left and Milner wide right...' like it's an unusual ploy or summink, mong! Where else do they normally play?!
-
Whooooo?! Henchoz, Carr not playing either!
-
Joy oh f**king joy!!!!!!!! Red CARD!!!!!!!!!!

Waaaaaaaaaaaa come oooon you slags!

We could do a diamond with: ......................Butt....................... ....Parker/Milner.............Emre...... .....................Dyer.......................
-
Yeah, don't want to put a dampener on it but it was only Reading. However, he was a fairly cheap signing so that fact that he doesn't carve open Manure, Chelsea, etc isn't the biggest surprise.

You'll have to come second to me there, pal
