Not so much 1 elephant in the room

There's nothing wrong in questioning the value of SA's appointment. I don't know what implications the Bung Inquiry would have on us but i'm sure our legal team would look at that and even question the Premier League/FA if there were any doubts. For me, i'm happy enough if we get him. He's done enough at Bolton to deserve a chance at a bigger club imo. Realistically we should be aiming for top 7 next year and i reckon he's capable. -
Eddie Hazel and Michael Hampton are worth a listen. Helps that they played in a great band rather then exercising over a backing track
-
I have, was getting sore.

He's done enough at a club the size of Bolton to deserve a chance at a club with more potential. Tbh.

Who is the worst possible, likely appointment?

Wash your mouth out with soap ! I can't help it, think about it! High Profile, Ex-England Manager, Ex-Chelsea manager, Continental experience (as a player) but still English, Utter Gash............ Nailed on, man -

I've had a horrible recurring day-nightmare we could end up with Glenn Hoddle. Can't wait to be wrong -
Danny Gatton is another contender i reckon.
-
Bob Brozman. Might change my mind though

£1m for 18 month loan, £13m agreed fee after that Whoaaaa! Maybe we can pay £3m for a 54 month loan then
-
I think that was the fee they paid West Ham but MSI still own him I think, something complicated anyway. Well, if we pay something similar to WHAM and he ends playing for us i don't care who holds his registration!
-
How much did Liverpool pay for Mascherano? I thought it was only £1m or something (a steal imo). Would Tevez cost something similar?

Portsmouth Vs Newcastle United: Official Match Thread

Did anyone genuinely expect anything else? An absence of attacking flair/ideas and porous at the back. No leadership on or off the pitch. -
I've imported lots of guitars, shipping damage has never been a problem. If you can find a Les Paul case to take out with you, put a piece of crap in it (a Vintage or something), dump that and bring the new one back. Customs see you go out with a guitar and they see you come back. They're are a canny bunch though so be careful. Also: I don't think Musician's Friend sell to non-USA customers. Maybe buy it off ebay from a decent US based trader. Shipping normally works out around $100-120. Just some ideas.

Big for a LB, hope that doesn't translate into 'Lumbering'....

Roeder rules out moves for Distin and Silvestre

Maybe the problem with those 2 is that they'd want a big signing on fee and high wages and we can afford neither. Maybe the club would take chance on that kind of outlay on a player they feel they could sell for a profit a few years down the road, you couldn't say that about either of those 2. -
Do we need a holding midfielder against Andorra ? Well, he sits deep but he can't f**king tackle! Sprays the ball around well though. We might get some 'incisive passing'
-
If fit: Lennon........Gerard........Carrick.........Downing .................Bent, D..........Defoe..................... The team has shape and 5 players out of 6 will definitely be motivated. Bent can work the channels and hold it up, Gerard bomb forward, Carrick sprays it around, wingers cross. Easy
-
Same here, but I've been meaning to start going again for a while. I did real rather inadequate watching the film though. Did 3 sets of ab crunches, got a bit of cramp after that
-
Well, i saw the film last night and f**king loved it. Went to the gym today, of course
