I'm pleased with these signings as are most of us, but history tells us things don't always go plan and enthusiasm can be pissed on by those wearing black& white. (That said, Villa are there for the taking). If I was a betting man I'd go nowhere near this fixture.

He was by far Sunderland's best player when we bought him, (no big deal to be fair as they were a shit team) and whenever they played well it was down to him, they wouldn't/couldn't give him the contract extension he wanted so KK nipped in and added him to our side. I think those four signings he made at the beginning of the promotion season were just perfect and all added to my belief that Keegan just had a talent for picking the right players by and large. I thought Bracewell was more or less finished when he came but playing for KK obviously gave him another couple of years as we could pass a ball around which suited Bracewell to a tee. £250K fee was a steal for those two years we got from him, he was an important player for us at just the right time in our development as a club. He did have a career threatening injury courtesy of Billy Whitehurst at SJP and it no doubt took something away from his game as that Everton midfield was very good for the time.

I will say that Anne Hathaway's scene where she sings 'I dreamed a dream' was moving and she acted the song as much as she sang it. That was a very good performance.

It's definitely got diamond piping going down the sleeves but obviously isn't the umbro piping through copyright reasons but the shirt isn't comprised too much. Watched Les Miserables last night. Got a lump in my throat at the end but apart from that thought the musical side of it was a waste of a good story.
