Let's hope it's in between two vital league games against Chelsea or someone for them.
-
Our record against these is worse than the other ambitious clubs.
-
Man City eh?
-
Anyway, Gouffran looked sharp, scored a pearler, Cisse got off the mark and we're in the next round.
-
Aye, when it's his turn at the bar he goes to the bog. Could peel an orange in his pocket. Can't pick a pass though.
-
Aye I called him all the knackers under the sun when that good run by one of wor lot, (the stream was poor, no idea if it was Gouffran or Cisse) was made in vain. You're right, he doesn't look up and can't pick a pass on instinct.
-
Yep. Or Chelsea away. Never ever think we'll get the Mackems for some reason.
-
Mind, Obertan is seriously shit, three shit decisions by him at the end. (Brilliant lay off by Gouffran btw).
-
Brilliant goal by Ginola against Man U Gouffran against Leeds.
-
Playing a settled side supposedly helps players so we're always told so putting a hotch potch team together is really going to help our fluency tonight. I'll be very surprised if we win comfortably if we win at all.
-
No I'm just probably overeacting. What's the craic with this 'breaking fucking bad'? Is it any good?
-
The complete lack of ambition and negativity in their plans is appalling. To win a cup or compete would have a pretty positive impact on our commercial revenue I'd guess. NUFC RIP.

Rare clip of Roger de Courcey without Nookie Bear interviewing The Mighty Quinn after his debut v dirty Leeds Utd. (ooooh, topical!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B2qyqCcGac

"Yeah, hi, I'd like a house special chow mein, fried rice, sahm jockey's whips and prawn crackers, please..........What? It's Puma? Owd you get this nahmber? Anyway, while yer on, Mike wants to know what the fack yer doing to make him money? The facking locals are boycotting and the spring links from Singapore are too scared to buy the gear in case they get grief off the facking locals! Time to facking walk the walk old son or we'll go elsewhere to get sponsored, Old man Ghura on Shields Road is facking chomping at the bit to get his shop on our shirt!"
-
Wonder what the reaction was at Puma when we asked them for any ideas about improving the commercial side of Newcastle United AFTER they've already became our sponsor? As for the cups, please, please, please let a journalist ask a question to Alan Pardew about this statement, just for a laugh. I'd say ask the Devil himself but he wont talk. (Silly squeeky voice apparently).

We need to get back to proper fullbacks..

So did Steve Howey and he was a fucking terrible striker before switching. -
Bit harsh on Fish.

Sometimes I'm glad I don't work in an office.

Is it true Il Duce d'Samurai bought more players than games he managed as Sunderland manager?

I've been waiting thirty odd years for a trophy, patience of a fucking saint, me. -

"It was very frustrating that we did not add at least another signing to the squad in the recent window, but it was not for lack of effort. I worked very hard on several targets and we made a number of bids for players, but for various reasons – some of which were outside the club’s control – we were unable to secure our targets. It was not an easy task to improve the quality of the current squad with the financial resources at our disposal, particularly in a window in which the value of players was grossly over-inflated and the demands of agents likewise. We will continue to operate in a financially responsible manner, buying only the right players for the right prices and not paying over the odds or making costly knee-jerk decisions." http://metro.co.uk/2013/09/21/joe-kinnear-blames-grossly-over-inflated-prices-and-agents-fees-for-lack-of-newcastle-transfer-activity-4061842/?

On a positive note, Remy looked sharp.
