  1. Think the two bairns have spotted a Ref in the corner of the room. Anyway, lovely pic.
  2. Really? Which one the blonde or brunette? There was just some Christmas stuff when I walked past Fenwicks window the other day. Might pop into town today.
  3. Only you could know anything about that kind of bet never mind score on it. Well done!!
  4. Don't go for a piss half way through chopping chillies. "Trust me."
  5. A good striker would give everyone a huge boost. Buying Cisse in Jan made us push on for fifth, 90 mins away from third. The team is better now. What would a decent striker do this time?
  6. I'd bring on Ben Arfa against these if we're in the game and looking to win it a la Man U.
  7. Just spotted this on their match thread pre-game. (oatcake). "Newcastle generally don't do draws. They did draw at home to Southampton earlier this month, and lost to Hull, so Stoke should match that. Like Spurs they are very good against lower placed opposition but poor against top half of the table sides. If Stoke are a genuine top half of the table team they have a good chance of winning."
  8. I had a pizza with lots of hot sauce added to it last night after quite a few bottles and cans throughout the day night. My underpants are now like the Japanese flag.
  9. I agree totally. A similar performance and line up against Man U will do for me. We'll need Gouffran, we'll also need all three of Tiote, Cabaye and Anita so do you take a chance and put Ben Arfa on for Sissoko? I'd only be tempted as Sissoko looked fucked at times yesterday but then again, he wasn't in what has been his usual position lately so maybe that didn't help? The one thing I would worry about is them breaking and Debuchy being isolated if HBA did play there. A big performance and the rub of the green could get us the points but the early kick off wont help as a Christmas game with a later kick off and a more pissed up support would've been a lot better.
  10. Strange reading their forums. One thinks we're in seventh place, another thinks we're in good form but Tiote isn't, same kid thinks it'll be tough but an early goal and they'll win comfortably, one thinks we've decent players but not getting much credit like the more fashionable Southampton??? A couple think they just have to turn up and they'll carve us open but there doesn't seem to be much discussion about the game in general. One thing is for sure, we are completely under the radar of most of the country which isn't a surprise when Lineker gives a great example of the general media narrative when he sums up the top of the table by mentioning the teams above us then informing the nation that a good Man U win now puts them 'just' eight points behind the leaders whilst not bothering to include us. This attitude should only help our cause in a perverse way.
  11. We're gonna need a bigger boat a stronger midfield against Arsenal. Keep it tight in there and hope their players take a strop if things don't go their way.
  12. I've drank alcohol every day since last Friday, some days more than others. I really need at least a few days off it.
  13. I honestly don't know why this bothers certain pundits and possibly CT?
  14. (My tongues like Ghandi's flip flops).
  15. I'm drinking fuck all but water and tea for the foreseeable future.
  16. Another striker is a must even with on loan Remy. I've no confidence we'll sign him next year but regardless, he's been looking a bit knackered lately and it would be nice to have another option, would be even nicer if that option was an in form Cisse but the jurys still out on him. Anyway, seen a quote from Pardew the other day where the opening sentence had the words 'keeping our powder dry' so I'd guess niet comrades.
  17. Mick Channon? He can, it's just a strong accent.
  18. Mackems win against a bogey side away from home and due to other results it's us who it benefits most.
  19. Unlucky Ant. Well done west brom. great result for us.
  20. The goals, a quick look at sending offs after extensive highlights of 'united', 'The Arsenal' and 'Jose's Chelsea'. (Not forgetting 'Liverpool Football Club'.)
  21. I'm going to record the game for Hughes face as much as the goals. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bloke.
