Kudos to the club for allowing Shola to shine in the World Cup before cashing in rather than selling now.

Are you CT? Are you CT? Are you CT in disguise? Areeeeeee you C-hee-T-hee in disguise?
-
Because CT thinks, like yourself that we will reinvest the money sensibly, (if we do reinvest it all), and add to the squads strength overall. I'm saying that it isn't always the case. Clubs who sell their best players tend not to be better off and the reason I gave that example that I did is because its the team I support, I was around at the time, and also because so was CT, (well he was alive then, anyway). Although Beardsley basically paid for the Milburn Stand, Gascoigne's money actually was reinvested however it wasn't spent wisely. You can't always unearth good players with clauses in their contracts. There's no guarantee whatsoever that we will come out of this with a better team in Jan or the end of the summer window.

We sold Gazza, Goddard and McDonald, (Not Supermac ), probably our best three players the season we finished eighth in the league. Spent the majority of the money and promptly finished 20th the season after and relegated. In a perfect World you become a stronger side in this situation but it mostly doesn't work out this way. Let's hope they have plenty of inside info on (good) players with clauses in their contracts as this is the only we can progress from here.

£30M a season for Arsenal from Puma next year! Wow! How much did our own genius get from Puma, again?
-
How did CT feel when we sold Waddle, Beardsley and Gascoigne? Even when you spend every penny of a big fee, (and who says we will), for one of your top players there's no guarantee the side will be improved.

A piece about Paul Gascoigne from a French newspaper but can you guess who still gets a big picture of themselves where apparently they describe to the journalist how they ditched their mullet hairstyle in praise of Judas to the short back and sides of Gazza?

Did you actually sigh as you typed that out, Ray?

Luckily no, but it was a close shave.

It's my left hand and I'm right handed. Just got in before, needed the bog, turtles heed popping out and could I fuck get my jeans unbuttoned. The cold sweat running down my brow whilst feverishly trying to avoid touching cloth was something I could've done without.

Ouch!

Managed to hurt my hand last night whilst bollocksed. I've already got a small plate in there from a similar drunken episode 17 years ago. Been to hospital this morning and after studying my x-ray they still can't make up their minds if it's broke or not. What a fucking knacker I am.

If you can't imagine it then there's no need to worry about it.
