  1. That's like saying Mr Ryder will continue to lag behind Henry Winter with Ryder's current approach.
  2. No, it really isn't. (The agency is a fairly specialised one where they have my details from a few years ago.)
  3. Nothing wrong with watching good football, just don't have any emotional attachment to whichever easy to dislike mob wins it.
  4. MF knowing where to hit for maximum discomfort. (The cunt).
  5. It could also be a nightmare as well. We hit the ground running and I enjoyed our one season in it, however I also remember being in the middle of the old second division going nowhere and it was a little bit shitter.
  6. It's a bit vague and they're not fully committing to a permanent contract yet, but it seems to be up for negotiation as the company is only four months old. The bloke asked if I want to move up instead and was going to discuss it with the company tomorrow. (I take agencies with a huge pinch of salt and try not to deal with them if I can, (Sorry Stevie!). He's going to get back to me, so he said. We'll see.
  7. Just been sounded out about a job I haven't applied for at a different company from someone who looked at my CV........ .......And now I feel like an epic Toontastic go-getter!!!! (I'll be having business meetings with Chez over lunch at Le Meurice, next).
  8. Am I the only one who hasn't looked?
  9. I see a lot of similarities between the attitude to Liverpool now and Man U just as it looked like Fergie was about to deliver their first title in 26 years especially where the media is concerned. The amount of times you heard the 'Holy grail' shit spouted about Man U's title hopes was nauseous, it was about this time also when I first heard the term 'theatre of dreams' which was another piece of advertising the media were happy to peddle for MUFC, a bit like how Anfield's famous European nights was always mentioned in their so called dark days. It has to be said, both clubs enjoyed some good success in their 'wilderness years'. They have both enjoyed prolonged success at exactly the right time in history, the coloured TV era, the era of major sponsorship and a more biased media desperate to fill their 24/7 media coverage with one eye on who the sponsors would prefer to be associated with. Fuck Liverpool, fuck Man U, fuck Man City, Asenal and Chelsea too. Spurs also get a disproportionate coverage in this media lead sport. Can't really say I actively care which one win wins it.
  10. They might well do, Gemm, then again possibly not. I'm just relieved our cowards wont have to capitulate against them for at least a season and they have stunk the PL out a bit lets be honest.
  11. Essembee spotted in front of his television at the final whistle tonight......
  12. I've fancied this before but was always at work. Might give it a go as I've backheeled weekends now.
  13. Gloomy's really in Bethnal Green hospital but the poor soul is still concussed. Just nod and smile at him, CSD.
  14. Stevie's post written straight from a black & white heart. Well said.
  15. Right, that's me in from graft.........How did the Sunderland game finish?
  16. Cue Vera Lynn......."We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again some sunny day!"
  17. Am at work. Never mind this Liverpool shite, keep me posted on the Mackems score. Andy Carroll, man. Just need to see the chicken celebration now.
