World? Not a World, just a forgotten town.

Good album, btw.

I didn't want to dig too deep. I'd hate to spook him and ruin my new mine of metal detecting information.

Update on my work-metal-detector mate. I asked him if other metal detectors, (the humans, not the actual machines), also like camouflage? He answered in the affirmative. I asked why and he said, 'They don't want to be seen. Some of them are up to no good". Make of that what you will.

Anyone hear the Knight Ryder on Talksport? I've looked but I can't find it. -

Materialism: The "What have you bought?" Thread

Never heard an American say 'I could care less' but if I did I'd think it sounds silly. Like Ronan Keating, Americans say it best when they say nothing at all. -
Don't nut any old Soviet flags! (Spotted by Gemmill).

Fucking hell! Did the kid from the taxi carry on catch up with you, AH? Good luck, mate!

I once knew a UKIP man on another NUFC forum who stood in a local election for them. Was pro-Ashley as well. PL knows who I'm talking about.

That looks weird and I saw them playing in the full kit and grey stripes on the shorts looked as bad.

I'd be a bit worried about being out of the EU with these bastards in charge, on the other hand, a lot of their business support will put pressure on them as they won't want to be out of the EU in my opinion. We'll see how it pans out. I still doubt it will happen personally, (the vote).

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

Aye, it's nee Cleethorpes. -
I'd be a bit sceptical of this European referendum, mind. Not only whether it'll happen but how it'll be worded. The Conservatives have been split for years about staying in or going out of Europe and it wouldn't surprise me at all if it keeps getting delayed with excuses about wording on the referendum question for example.

Not confident at all for the QPR game, they've just been relegated getting twatted 6-0, they can't possibly be as bad and have to put a bit of effort in for their fans without the worry of the drop hanging over them anymore. We need 3 points here as a minimum as I fully expect that cunt to beat us at the original 'Casa St. James' on the final day.

I said it wasn't too bad, man! I thought the 'Harry' character spoiled the film a bit which was pretty good up till then. Must be the cockney accent and typical cockney-film gangsta type patter which puts me off. (As a bonus, I did get to see more of Bruges than I did in the UEFA cup where I was a bit pissed and pissed off with the ticket situation). -
Was talking to a kid I give a lift to the other day when he brought the subject up of taxi queues in the town on a weekend. I'd completely forgot about the shit that used to go on. He seemed to think things weren't too bad but my memories from the early nineties was there was always some fucker having a scrap in the taxi queue. Always.Sid the Sexist's tales were uncannily accurate of that period in the toon.

Was talking to a bloke at work the other day who was once running the line at a local game a few years ago when Carvs was still playing. Apparently he was still acting the cunt even then as he stormed over from one side of the pitch to the other have a go at a raised flag by my workmate. My workmate is getting on a bit now and a real character but had a, well, lets say 'a bit of a reputation' back in the day so when Carvs 'stormed over' to within twenty yards of the bloke in question he obviously twigged and thought a bit better of his hardman act before giving the thumbs up to my colleague and getting on with the game.
