The young fan in me wanted to say hello, the poor cunt who watches our players and wishes they were as good as he was wanted to say hello, but I'm not the type to approach a famous person unless they are unavoidable and/or have made eye contact/said hello etc, plus I'd feel a bit hypocritical in licking his arse after not being too happy with his 'mike' patter. Hope your laddie enjoyed himself.

Never, ever being able to get away with zombie stuff, CT, they just suck the life out of you.

Just seen Peter Beardsley walking around sainsburys in Heaton, was tempted to say hello and compliment him for being one of the best footballers I've ever watched live but I didn't want to bother him plus he's put me off with some of pro-ashley comments so I basically tried to avoid him like you do with someone you hardly know and don't really want to talk to, but as is typical in those situations, you end up walking down the same aisles all the time. (What a shame tbh).

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

Paths of Glory (1957) An anti-war, anti-establishment film by Stanley Kubrick which I'd never seen before although had heard of it. It's short, punchy and depicts the upper echelons in the French army of not giving a toss about the pawns who are very much expendable. Kirk Douglas is the Colonel who defends three of his men on a trumped up court martial trial brought by an incompetent and ambitious general. Definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it, not sure if it's a 'nice trip down memory lane/German and Japs' film that CT would like but it's a more than decent film. -

Would. (Not even up for debate).

That's it, then. First time I'm bored with time in my hands I'm watching it if it's on kodi. It'll be like a reconstruction of a CT settee sale when we see Roth brokering a world cup deal.

Can you imagine pards and Simon Jordan in the same room? If you could harness that smarm into energy you could power a city the size of Coventry four times over. It's just as well Jordan had vacated the building before the King's coronation was confirmed.- 10610 replies

Anyone seen 'United Passions' the film FIFA commissioned about how Blatter and Havelange saved the world as we know it? (I've only seen clips of it rather than the whole clip of it. Tim Roth doing a Michael Caine/Jaws 3 paying a bill job).

He doesn't just excuse his own failings, he betters Souness and big Sham by omitting his pal Mike's failings as well.- 10610 replies

'Didn't have Netflix, used kodi, didn't chill, put central heating on instead.' (Felt radiators halfway through to check they were on).
-
'I'm a massive lads fan and so are you, fancy coming round for some classy sex? FTM'
-
'Hey marra-etta, fancy coming over for some bong and playing hide the sausage?'
-
'Netflix and chill' Fuck sake, man. "Don't have Netflix, used kodi instead".

Spill the beans, then.

Utter bilge blaming the fans for anything, back in the day a smaller ground with less fans in but more vociferous supporters could destroy a players confidence. That doesn't happen to the same extent anymore and anyway, one week we're too demanding, the next we're too nervous etc, not for the first time, poltroon pardew living up to his reputation as an arch talker of shite.- 10610 replies

Can you put a few more photos up, CT? I'm not sure there's enough on for me to visualise your cooking.

It comes with age and life experience.

There you go, Haydnator, knock one, err, I mean, knock yourself out.

Was getting worried about you, Zanetti.

Was talking about this last night as well and more or less said the same as you. -
Read somewhere that he was found in a quiet lane and had been jogging. They don't know how long he was there. Hope that's wrong as it won't have helped him if he'd been lying there a while.
-
Met him when he'd just signed, lovely kid. Hope he's OK.
