Great reading their match thread on us. We just couldn't ever hope to match their meltdowns if they won away against the odds.

All the best, gemm.

Generic small time football blather thread 2015/16

Not the first time he's come out with this shite. I think the first time he came across a bit bitter that the Liverpool teams revered aren't the ones he played in despite winning a cup or two, where as when you talk about the 'great' Newcastle United sides of recent memory then it can only be Keegan's side who never won the cups Carragher team did. We've won fuck all in my lifetime but that side and those times were amazing especially contrasting with the state of the club preceding Keegan's turnaround. I think the squeaky voiced, square jawed twat needs to keep his nose out of a club he knows fuck all about. -

The game was crying out for Perez to come on for the ineffectual De Jong, Cisse struggles playing alone but to fair, didn't get the lickings of a dog from our players. Gini is wasted out wide and the game passes him by, Sissoko was again a bit frustrating until the substitutions. Was great watching in the club and seeing everyone go apeshit when the goals go in, (including me spilling my pint for the umpteenth time celebrating a NUFC goal). Fantastic turnaround and I'll had to wait for MOTD to come on the iPlayer as I was fucking blotto last night and missed it. -
One of these days he'll tell us he's about to give their lass a seeing to and put a picture up of his bed then another pic showing his knob.

Ladies and gentleman, I give you Lord Fish of London, fresh from defending his adopted city on twitter to the editor of true faith.

It's the only way to vent their frustrations at their dad.

Most of the Welsh are alright, man. It's a 'local' international derby, course they're going to be up for it. Same as the Scottish and both the Irelands would be. If the North East broke away from London and had a football team we'd be wanting to put one over England too.

They might have big vet bills? They might need a new fence after reversing their car into it? Maybe have a Eurovision shindig to pay for? A holiday needing paying? Young Johnny might have school trip needs paying? They might be saving for kids christmas prezzies? They might even think some bars are just a bit average and are not worth having the piss taken out of them for expensive Italian draught lager when surrounded by wankers? Truth is more varied and complex than heresay sometimes.

Ah, but maybe there up to their eyes in debt? Big mortgages, new kitchens, extensions etc?

Troops, a season ticket sold is money in the bank. They're not going to spend a penny buying it back, especially when they've plenty other empty seats to sell.

Should've been three!

I used to enjoy the Euros, I certainty don't watch them with an Ingurland head on.

Definitely. I went to the Watford game, more because the bairn could see a PL game involving her team in the flesh. I'll give her one game a season, (I think that's all she can handle anyway as it's too loud sitting next to me and three out of three defeats hasn't exactly got her dying to get back). I've no intention of going back with just my mates. Been without a season ticket since L7 was shut down because of dissent and only been with the bairn three times plus some of the UEFA cup games. I don't even think the cup games will get me back now. It is a shadow of the club it was. However, people are stubborn or simply don't think about the bigger picture and just go as 'nobodies telling me what to do'.

It's more the guarantee of a ticket I suppose, it takes years to build them up. (Points). Also, what is it now? £35 for a membership just to be able to buy an away ticket? Disgraceful and not enough made of this IMO.
-
Bournemouth 1-0 up in the first couple of mins against man u. I'd normally be laughing but, err, now we're not targeting top eight I think I'll keep a straight face.
-
Away points will keep a few going back and it's hard if you're an away regular to risk not going to games you take for granted getting tickets for. (I take on board everything else, though).
-
Too much? (No idea).

Chances at both ends near the end of the mackems game. One on ones missed by Watford, and a couple of decent saves by Watford's keeper. Early on Watford were far superior in very wet conditions. We're out of the cup in round 3, like. As for the mackems, yes they're shit, but they always look more dangerous when Defoe comes on. They'll be down if he's injured or fucks off.

I'm hoping for a lacklustre spurs, a tired spurs and an apathetic crowd expecting a walkover. That coupled with a good performance and a rub of the green can quite easily see us getting a win here. I just don't see it on this occasion, though. -
Spotted a Sunderland/Feyenoord flag. Desperate.

Mackems one down, Watford just hit the post.
