Tiote and colback in the middle v arsenal, Gini wandering around lost on the left leaving dummet exposed. Not looking forward to this game at all. -
I see the Government has drawn up new plans to tackle the Northern flooding AND reduce the North/South divide.......

"There's just something bothering me, probably just the way my brain works but they haven't released his cause of death yet. Seems quick to pass away 3 days after a cancer diagnosis. I wonder if he took his own life?" (You could well be right, RIP in any case).

To be fair, we'd just had an end to end 4-3 defeat to Man U, then played these a couple of days later in another end to end game. It was the last twenty minutes where they benefited from having their other Christmas game called off because of a tube strike, (whey aye) and our lots legs started to go. (You couldn't knock our players as two games in a few days at Old Trafford and at Arsenal would always take their toll especially against a fresher team thanks to them doing a form of 'Boro' to suit their teams needs).

We might 'turn up' against arsenal but the three points usually 'turn up' for arsenal as well. They and man city are inevitable defeats in recent years. Home win.

Just seen a leaked pic of the new crest, fucking shite.
-
Apparently his brother said the singing of his name sent shivers down his spine. Hopefully the club can do something appropriate/some gesture for his family to treasure.
-
I've never disliked any of our crests tbh, although I've no doubt anything that happens under this current set up will be shit, so with that in mind I'd rather they left it alone. Our first season with the current crest ended in relegation by the way. Just saying, like.
-
It is a more 'cartoon-ised' version but is essentially their old crest. I think we'll end up with a very basic version of the old magpie one. I think the mackem's current one is shit and was an attempt to forge a new identity along with a new stadium, new (pinched) ground name and a voted for new nickname. Preferred their old crest.
-
It would make sense as a few clubs have tweaked with their crests to make them 'easier', (cheaper) to market them. Man City have seen sense and have just about restored their old one..... I fear to see what ours would be.

I'm not too surprised to hear it but hoped he'd pull through. Absolutely shit news, no age for him to die and he was such a canny bloke with it. RIP Pav (Like Gary Speed it seems wrong typing that out)

It needs to be a cheap and nasty crest, something utterly shit, it needs to serve no purpose, make no sense and something that will turn people off, if it wants to fit in with Ashley's model of Newcastle United.
-
Any of our lot do that, especially mitrovic, it's a red, not yellow.

There's stacks of things not in McClaren's control, but it's him persisting with the midfield joke shop. -
