There was no fear of McClaren from the players, no respect and let's be honest, any player spending more than a couple of months here will pick up on the ethos of Ashley's NUFC fairly quickly including not being too arsed about a lame duck manager. McClaren was never going to do well here despite some optimistic noises from some on here. And obviously that's not even factoring in the lopsided recruitment processes and Charnley doing the deals. The latter is in place because he'll be compliant to the smallest detail.

Watched 'Grimsby' last night with the missus, was expecting it to be so-so with the odd laugh but it was better than I expected, genuinely PMSL through parts of it. There's a scene with elephants which needs to be watched.

Mackems advertising season tickets on lercal radio and the main hook on the advert? 'Tenth consecutive season in the PL'. Small time on two different levels, one is obviously a dig at us and the other is an achievement in their club's eyes.

Sorry, I couldn't think of a fashion presenter as by some amazing twist of fate, I couldn't give a fuck about who's wearing what and who's telling you what they're all wearing. Also never knew a tie had different names for you knotted it. You just fucking put a tie on. That's it folks. I'm sure I'm in the minority on here though for that line of thinking.
