  1. ..... Or a young Gemmill honing his future killer forum putdowns in the schoolyard before Gripper Fist came looking for his dinner money.
  2. Holy fuck! Who told you about the brexiteers top secret Irish 'Marvin Gaye' plan? It was supposed to be on a strictly 'need to know' basis.
  3. Not just bitter about the victories, for all their wins they were still absolute fucking cacka playing everyone else, whereas our wins coincided with NUFC taking off, being in the spotlight and also getting 'entertainers' tags and 'everyone's 2nd team' stuff. The latter was a load of shite from sky but it must've killed them as we were miles away from them playing in Europe, competing in the PL. Apart from all of that, I don't think the older ones ever got over the Gillingham play off game at Roker where they had to watch their club get relegated to the 3rd division whilst hundreds of Newcastle United supporters celebrated in the ground with Gillingham fans.
  4. My name's Buck And I don't give a fuck About the US or Japan, But if Aussie Ken Posts shite again, Then Tom's yer fucking man.
  5. I think I might've reported this post or something? Err.....any mods reading this feel free to disregard. Anyway, carry on Adolf.
  6. What a fucking knacker that bloke is. White's a pain in the arse and is a 100% sky bullshit artist but that's out of order by Parry who himself comes across as a bit of a plonky.
  7. It's funny how after 6-in-a-row we aren't as mentally scarred as they obviously are for all the victories we had over them in the KK/Robson years.
  8. @robchester is on a written warning. 6 months good behaviour before it's wiped off his record.
  9. Rafa has switched formation because of personnel and it's been horrific to our shape. At least a quarter of our side yesterday are simply not good enough, we all know who they are, I'm just surprised Rafa couldn't have shoehorned them into his normal way as it least they're used to it and it's been keeping us a lot tighter at the back. Big problems if injuries and suspensions carry on and no new quality can come in when January ends.
  10. Hope so. I honestly couldn't have give a fuck about Everton and as a kid admired their team which was a top side for a few short years but I've read too many of their internet knackers drivel regarding us and think they're well overdue a relegation, (they owe Hans Segers big time in the 90s the crooked bastard). Very much in the same bitter mould as Sunderland towards their rivals.
  11. 'Sure there's a bit of homelessness and childhood poverty being on the rise, you can't crack a recession without breaking an egg after all, but when some kind of cracking deal gets done and the willies hang limp at the brexit talks, then you'll see these record number of jobs combined with new global business outside of Europe and also with Europe, they won't want to lose us, and everyone will just calm down and get on with things as normal, business as usual, same old tories, sorting out labour's mess.'
  12. BBC iPlayer has a show on Bill Shankly which was a canny watch although be warned, a bit thick on scouse love. Anyway, they make a big thing about winning the cup that in 65 as Liverpool hadn't won it before and the place went mental explaining that the cup was THE thing to win then. Couldn't help thinking we'd already won it 6 times by then and haven't won it since whilst Liverpool kicked on. Apparently their board had similarities to our old board and were happy ticking over till the Littlewoods people got on the board and it was them plus Shanks drive which got them moving. KK features on it and the similarities are telling in attitude between the men. Like I say, well worth a watch even for us non-liverpool fans.
  13. If that was his point I'd be surprised. If Rafa walked under Ashley I've little doubt we'd get a Pulis type.
  14. I'd hate to play cards with you, Ewok. No mercy given from the emerald isle with this one.
  15. Aye, but if he doesn't (I put that in italics just for you, Daveed) have Rafa because takeover talks break down and SeƱor Benny Tez leaves the building, what makes you think he won't go with his normal type of manager/coach? He tried and failed with the cheap idiots and he'll feel he's had his fingers burnt with more expensive men with clout, (KK and Rafa), who have fucked him off. I think he'd prefer the cheap (oops I did italic again) idiots personally. Hopefully this is all a moot point and the one leaving the building heads for Buckinghamshire rather than the Wirral.
  16. Tbf, we don't know much about PCP/Stavely or her backers. However we do know quite a bit about Mike fucking Ashley, his ways, his cohorts, his paid lackeys, his contacts at SKY, (hint, hint), Keith (if you had a part in allo allo, no matter how small, he's your man) Bishop, etc, etc. If I had to hazard a guess, I'm saying this is all on Ashley. Or, could be they're playing him at his own game and taking the piss by using his go-to media outlet?
  17. Have you forgotten about Kinnear, McClaren and Carver already? Pulis would be an upgrade on those lot all hired on Ashley's watch. If Rafa went and a sale didn't occur Pulis would be par for the course in an Ashley ran club. Still Mentally Scarred Davey
  18. Don't think there can be a more desperate fanbase for stuff like this. If you stopped the average Sunderland fan and asked them 'X foreign football club was formed by a supporter of which English football club?' they'd shout out 'Sunnalin' before you'd finished asking the question.
  19. I've never got away with Coleman tbh, he's got a bit of the Nigel Pearson's or Mark Hughes about him. He's also come across as not being the biggest fan of us either the very odd time he's been talking NUFC which will obviously go down well with his new fanbase, match goers and stay aways alike. Hopefully he rots in the Wearside backwater. I'm not as confident on his managerial abilities as well, if he's come on as a coach he's going to need all his skills and some.
