  1. TBF, there's an ex-poster/current lurker who'd get off seeing that sex video in between picking up fares.
  2. Nah, it's not just you. (The homicidal thoughts towards your female work colleagues, that one IS just you).
  3. It's that orange faced, blonde hairlight with a quiff, smug for having a bit of wedge, Simon Jordan who supports Palace calling our fans and club? It would be nice if they were just a bit honest for a change; "That fackin' Nocarsuhwl, in a league below us, we bought their fackin' manager back home to Selhurst, they're getting double our crowds and are generally happier with life, AND their getting some nice reviews, articles and time spent talking abaht them. What abaht my team? Why dahnt they talk abaht my club? It's not fahkin' fair."
  4. As long as there's plenty of Dock leaves this shouldn't be a problem, tbh.
  5. Alreet, man, FFS, no need to go on about it! Pleased you've got a bit of help, mate. Things definitely seem worse if you keep it bottled up.
  6. I think there was only one time this happened in the top league, Charlton 'won/kept' their top flight status at the expense of the three Div 2 sides. It also relegated the mackems into the 3rd (THIRD) division when they finished 3rd bottom of div 2 and went out on away goals to 3rd div Gillingham. Lawrie 'Mag'Menemy fucked them up and left just in time for Stokoe go take them down as a caretaker although unlike Rafa and Shearer it wasn't his fault, natch.
  7. I doubt it, mate, what period do you think think heralded a change in worker rights? Now or your grans era? Some folk went abroad to fight against fascism despite being from a neutral country, some ran British fascists out of their towns in your grans day. Like my Dad, I think you probably get a bit more right wing as get older, it's almost like a fear thing. (Not that my dad's RW, he just has moved more in that direction from the way he was when I was younger.)
  8. My Dad reads it every day, he's an ex-soldier, working class labour bloke, 71. He's definitely changed his outlook over the 20 years or so he's been reading that since he switched from the daily mirror. He's still not in outright DM reader mode but naturally voted leave after being drip fed all that shit.
  9. The article says the sky decision to move it now means they face an 8 hour round trip of 420 miles? Was it a closer, shorter trip before the date change? ?
  10. Booked a lovely little place in Northumberland for 4 nights over Christmas as we couldn't face Christmas day in our house in it's current state.* Don't usually do stuff in this country holiday wise so quite looking forward to a change and wouldn't normally go away at Christmas either so that's also a first. * Shame things couldn't have been done in time but things are moving along canny so we're getting there and by doing things in stages with friends/relatives/me grafting on rest days I'm saving some decent money to pay back el banco and keep my mortgage down!
  11. Ah, it's a musical? Wasn't 100% sure if it was a musical, a boy band or a different version of the Chippendales. While massive lads fan ewerk shakes his booty I'll be in the anchor or Wallsend buffs drinking cheap Guinness watching Rafa's lads get back on track. (Please!)
  12. Regarding our utter shitness at penalty shootouts, I'd say that there's definitely extra pressure at 'no trophies for forty odd years but still backed by a desperate to win crowd' NUFC. I'd sometimes they rather just thought 'fuck it, nothing to lose' and welly the fucker.
  13. Can you pour me a glass as well, Ken?
  14. Well that's us paggered v Forest, out of the cup and beaten by Blackburn. We don't like this time of the year when still in this competition.
  15. We've looked knackered from half time, Ritchie looked like he was running through treacle before he came off. Selz again, though. (After fannying on by three of wor lot tbf). I think we're fucked for the Forest game as a Brucie's bonus from this game. At least get through and make it worth it. Gayle needs to do better there.
  16. He's been trudging through the comedy clubs, supporting NUFC on the lookout for the elusive English tapas for years, man.
