'Santa Claus the movie' from the eighties featuring Dudley Moore. Is what I'd guess yours would be.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Howmanheyman replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
It's one ground I've never been to and I can't see that changing tbh. I fucking hated London games anyway when I used to travel a bit.- 10610 replies

Howmanheyman replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Honestly, at the time if you'd asked me who the most boring club and supporters I'd ever seen it would've been them based on that 1st time I'd encountered them. Makes all that ultra shite more amusing all these years later. I got the impression that their fans were dull as fuck.- 10610 replies

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Howmanheyman replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Daft how certain little things stick in the memory, but I still remember thinking it must be fucking shit supporting Palace after we played them in the cup, (Gazza wondergoal game), as there was only a couple hundred of them up and they only chirped up a couple of times and had two 'songs' only, a monotonous 'eagles, eagles' chant or a 'yellows, yellows'* in the same monotone as the 'eagles' one. I felt sorry for them that they couldn't fit any decent songs out of the name, Crystal Palace. *they had a yellow strip that day.- 10610 replies

The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread
Howmanheyman replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
He was anonymous v Blackburn, absolutely dogshit. He missed sitters in the Preston duck shoot v 10 men and caused unnecessary grief with the penalty argument with Ritchie. Rafa likes to rotate but isn't playing him very much which should maybe tell us something as well? I'm happy to be wrong as it happens but I'm not seeing it. -
The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread
Howmanheyman replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
Not sure about a backlash from my own POV, I was expecting better from the lad this season in particular as I thought there was potential there last season but he's went backwards if anything. I've big doubts about him and yes, there's times you can't help like the kid but equally, he's a bit of a knacka at times and there's doubting his absolute lack of pace which is a massive problem in a Rafa side that plays only one up top. I don't even think he has it all his own way in the air either as it happens. I was probably 70/30 that he'd make a success of it this season but you can reverse that percentage from what I've seen at home and the odd away game I've seen. I certainly won't slag the kid but I'll be surprised if he's playing PL football next year with NUFC and Rafa. -
Good job I don't watch a lot of tele, then. Fuck that.

I think Rafa won't need to be overruled by Ashley if a bid comes in for mitrovic that is more or less what we paid, tbh, Troops. -
I come from a generation that was touched up by the likes of Jimmy Savile and it didn't do me any harm either. That time he fixed it for me to milk that cow blindfolded was a dream come true!

BTW, I've no idea what SEW does? He's a closed shop when it comes to graft. -

Nah, not everyone. MF's a window cleaner, PL changes lightbulbs and I keep North East manufacturing going almost singlehandedly. Quiff works for a Japanese mackem called Kaiza Soze who takes constant pics of him at work telling him where he's going wrong. -

Didn't think it was very different violence wise from the last one. My youngest daughter is 11 and she was fine with it and she's definitely more squeamish than her older sister. You know your bairn better than me so ultimately it's your call, I know some of the stuff I inadvertently watched when my dad first got a VHS in 1982 and I turned out err, well anyway, its up to you. -
The absolute shit wor lass shows me from Facebook etc, I show her this* which I thought she'd find amusing and I get a 'eh? I don't get it......oh, I see' then gets back to Facebook whilst I sit back down to my cuppa. *Fucking first and last time I bother my arse showing her anything from Twitter despite being bombarded with shit from her world of Facebook cronies.

I've ate a pizza from 'Miami pizza' in Walkergate for £2. That's as far from artisan as you can possibly get, it makes an asda deli pizza look like something from a Neapolitan ristorante.

Took the youngest to watch Rogue one, thought it was OK, nothing more but once I'd worked out the time frame it did enhance the film, (I'd not seen nor read anything about R1 so it was a surprise). The ending was pretty good and blended well into what it was meant to. (Trying not to give anything away to those who haven't seen it). Overall, better than the last one which was OK. -
