  1. Pardew, big sham, Grayson and coach Carvs blatantly being shunned by UEFA only for being pro-brexit.
  2. My eyes seen it too but I'm glad the Fish confirmed it with a heatmap because it's better to be safe than sorry.
  3. The club he drank in auctioned off his socks to pay for his fine. (Which he then spent on horses and an all dayer).
  4. This bloke was who worked at my place was though.... (Not sure if pic will upload on new site?)
  5. It's ok, the market will find it's level, hard working taxpayers will take back control etc.
  6. Not really sure, tbh, Fish. (And that's without my erratic timetable). As a one off, maybe, but I'm no James Horncastle and co.
  7. Aye, I couldn't pass anything on as I'm a plastic, fairweather supporter, anyway.
  8. Aye, it's a tricky one. On the one hand you've ten years of multi-fuck ups and genuinely astonishing pull your out moments, ten years of unrest or unrest bubbling under the surface, ten years of belittlement of our club, ten years with two relegations squeezed in, ten years with Joe Kinnear getting two calls to help us norveners aht and thinking he was Michael Caine in 'Get Carter'. Ten years of which plenty were spent with Mr bullshit Pardew talking utter shit whilst breaking all kinds of unwanted records, ten years where someone like John Carver, someone who I wouldn't let run the local working men's social club first eleven's football side, was allowed to be our manager, ten years where the debt increased because of the owners decisions, ten years where the ground was renamed to his shit sports company and made a laughing stock for no revenue whatsoever, ten years where you can barely see any advertising revenue opportunities because of the multitude of SD boards, ten years of revenue not growing other than the centralised TV deal, ten years of all this and plenty of other Mike Ashley induced shit......on the other hand Rafa needs to rethink his tactics a bit, apparently and maybe the odd selection or something? Aye, definitely a tricky one, Tom.
  9. Not being funny back but no chance. At the min I'm a full time worker, 12hr shifts, full time Dad, part time carer, part time taxi driver with the last two, part time project manager with my house job, part time painter and decorator with house job and occasional leave to have a few pints when we're playing. I could tell any interested parties where I'll be on a match day and give them an oral, (oo-er missus) version if they want like the old days. Any bits I can't remember I'll refer them to excellent old NUFC books of which they're a few.
  10. If they were two divvies I could've slaughtered them but they're two sound kids tbh. I still bollocked them but gave the 'I'm more disappointed than angry' look in the end. There's things you should just 'know'. I wasn't born for the likes of McNamee swinging off the crossbar in front of the fulwell etc but things just handed down. I blame their fathas.
  11. Looked canny half arsed to me. Tbf he was more blowing out his arse than being half arsed but it adds up the same when it comes to him. He wasn't the worst last night so it's not as though I'm picking him out for special treatment.
  12. Was talking to a young'un, (28-ish) and he mentioned the 'sir John hall' stand. I half jokingly bollocked him for saying it, (he's a sound lad) and told him Hall was taking the piss naming the Leazes after himself rather than a club legend if it had to be changed, and that it always should be called the leazes. The lad had never heard of Hall at all and never given the name a second thought, never mind wondering if he was an ex-player or anything. I also had a bit craic a while ago with my pals son, (again, a lovely kid, early twenties, no mug etc) and talking about David Kelly was surprised to see him look blankly. He hadnt a fucking clue who he was. Not sure if it's me but I can't believe the lack of basic club knowledge from some of the younger support. I know I'm probably sounding like an old cunt but without 24hr sky stats/internet etc most of my peers knew the ins and outs of a fart when it came to NUFC and that was when we were also fucking shite. Anyway, carry on.
  13. I'm very similar to this statement, tbh. Honestly, an old workmate described him as 'Son of Whitehurst' which was a bit unfair as Mitro is a better finisher than Billy was but is soft as fucking clarts in comparison. Both equally as mobile.
  14. I wonder who the seven people were who voted leave?
  15. That was pretty depressing even for a random team playing in a LC tie. Aarons was the only one who actually looked like he had a bit of quality and even then, he's a greedy bastard at times. Hanley was Div 4 standard on that showing, the kids tried but are painfully never going to be anywhere near PL standard, Murphy was a big disappointment, Mitrovic was Mitrovic and Fish needs to get to specsavers if he thinks this kid is anything but an utter pedestrian. We're in massive trouble if we don't get a striker in because joselu didn't look the part in an all be it, brief appearance and I'm not convinced Gayle will play over half a season and score a a load. I normally don't take too much from cup games, win, lose or draw, but a few fringe players showed even less talent than I had them down for. Lazaar and Hanley being stand out shit, Gamez, finished, Darlow? No thanks. This squad cannot handle injuries/suspensions, big time.
  16. When Dani Behr wasn't available. PL and Alex beating me to it, a bit like Gazza beat Sir les's......
  17. Going with my daughters to this. Oldest doesn't give a toss about football so she'll be in good company these days at SJP. Youngest liked NUFC and football but isn't as arsed as she was although she'll still enjoys the odd game. You couldn't seriously have your kids support another club, (especially a fellow British one), fuck that. You suffer, so do they. Anyway, 'character building' etc.
  18. Parky, just use the George Formby grill, man. The toasties always turn out nice again.
