For anyone interested in the lakes I can thoroughly recommend Heaton Park and Jesmond Dene. Loads of amenities within driving distance. True it's not actually in the lakes but pubs/restaurants.

+1 I still love blueberry hill, though.

He got a cracking deal, tbf.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Just watched motd2. Absolutely staggered how much of a thick cunt Phil Neville is, I mean, knew he wasn't the sharpest tool in the box but just about everything he's said tonight was shite and his opinions on the everton job was gold plated bollocks. Even Jenas and the presenter were struggling to keep it together listening to him. -

That's too close to what could happen for me to laugh without worrying. -

No doubt whatsoever the biggest threat to a takeover is our glorious owner being a fucking knacker. -

no idea but if it's true you have to worry about their total lack of self awareness. -

I heard the England lads 'put 'em under pressure'. >Insert Jackie Charlton pic here< -
They've had ten years in the top flight which for them in the modern era is unprecedented, trouble is at least half of those seasons were utter bilge but 6-in-a-row marra. Back to reality now, ten years of shit in the top division is their pinnacle. They'll get promoted in a few years time if they're lucky so they've got that to look forward to although it might be from league one and maybe straight through to PL? At the minute they're where they belong.

BTW, I can see what @Howay means about 'mag in peace'. What a strange fucker if he really is a Newcastle United supporter. (I have my doubts too).

Sunderland echo reporter's tweet from may 15. 'Got to admitted' (Very CT).

at both posts.

Tbf to him he never mentioned NUFC which I'd a pretty rare thing. You just know any conversation between a Mackem and another club's fan will have the mackem slagging NUFC and our support off with one of their made up myths.
-
The mackem in question will be calling them all the ignorant bastards to his marras at the match but won't tell them why. "Ha'way lads, gerrin to em' the fucking cider drinking ignorant bastards! Ah fucking hate these cunts!" "Why?" "Cos ah went on their fans forum and the cunts ignored my post and err.....ah mean ah once saw one of em' hitting a massive lads fan lass a few years ago in Bristol. Our away fans were superb that day. Cough, ahem. FTM."

-
Funniest thing about that thread is a Mackem going on to lick their arses as they do and telling them where decent bars are in Sunderland on a match day and nobody replying while some talk about going to Newcastle and past games.....against NUFC. (The funny thing is they aren't even taking the piss out of him, IMO, his post is just irrelevant to them).

1-0 either way.

Only been to the USA once and it definitely felt more alien than different parts of Europe I've been to. Not even close to feeling the same.
