  1. No. Not really a viable option in my case. It would probably be a sackable offence at my place.
  2. The football league pulling out all the stops in their quest to strengthen their league. It's never ending.
  3. Nah. Much better to be home at this stage with what's at stake. This is usually where even those that moan or keep quiet get on board. The crowd were great on Friday and will be good on Monday too.
  4. What a fucking paper that is, man. Parody wouldn't do them justice.
  5. Sky can go suck my plums. Especially Kirsty Gallacher. Please.
  6. Alan Oliver was a Sunderland fan as it happens.
  7. Once promotion is secure I think it's a matter of time before the dicking about of Rafa begins. Keeping/taking us up is why he was hired IMHO. If Ashley thinks he can get away with using someone else with less hassle once we're up then I don't doubt he'll go for it after forcing Rafa to walk. Goes without saying I'd like to be wrong about this.
  8. I'm pleased a few of their fans came a cropper acting up in the town, like. A few of them obviously making the same mistake with their reputation as their teams prowess. Both long seen better days. It's all very well running about places like Rotherham and Reading acting the cock, different coming to a city centre like Newcastle. Fucking knobs.
  9. Some of our players aren't good old fashioned good enough, troops. Get a majority of our better players in for a decent run and we're OK. Anything else and it's up in the air.
  10. Need to hide Diane Abbot away like the Tories did with Ian Duncan Smith but watching the one o'clock news and there she is! Cruella de May blatantly appealing for the brexit vote and Corbyn not mentioning it all. Hard to see things getting even worse but it's not looking good.
  11. We're due a win, home to Preston and a 4th without a victory? Nah. If a win doesn't secure promotion due to reading or Huddersfield both winning themselves, then hopefully Cardiff will seal it by us winning that too or the other two dropping points. I expect to see us play Barnsley already promoted, basically.
  12. I'm tempering the Rafa finger pointing by pointing out that quite a few of the players we've got aren't much cop and yet we're still looking good for promotion.
  13. Rafa gets some blame but when he wanted a player in January all he got was Sammy fucking Ameobi. We regularly have to play Jack walking freekick Colback, a broken Perez and a 6 foot sloth with a 2nd and 3rd touch even worse than his 1st in Diame. Murphy is a standard championship player and Mitrovic, despite fish's claims, is pretty average to be kind. Gayle is De Jong's slightly healthier brother, Lascelles might come good but I've big doubts, Dummett is a steady kid and that's about the best thing I can say about him, Anita is another who is no better than average on a good day, Darlow can pull some saves off but can drop some major bollocks, Atsu is the epitome of all fart and no shite and so on, and so forth. So.....Rafa gets some blame, but I'd be a bit hesitant to go overboard on him considering the turnaround in players and getting some knackers to be a unit and grind 85 points out. The officials have also been a fucking joke and have cost us a good few points as well. Anyway, a win out of Preston, Cardiff or Barnsley should be enough. Two wins definitely will. It's a pity it wasn't a procession, but tbh, it still could be a procession with two games spare. I absolutely dread to think what would have happened with a donkey like McClaren in charge of the same players, tbqfh.
  14. Go 2 up against Preston and you'll be racing round your kitchen on your segway, John Thomas free as a bird.
  15. We'll piss it once the first goes in. If today wasn't a wake up call, nothing will be.
  16. Can Bent not challenge for a ball up in the air without using his feet?
  17. In keeping with the game. Still time for a 96th min pen or something.
  18. I still think we're going up but fuck me, we're not helping ourselves, said for ages that the FCB is my biggest worry in the summer, he's already decided everything was cushty in January and a similar attitude will kill the club next window. I thought we'd at least have an enjoyable run in rather than a nervous one before Rafa v Ashley.
