Never seen the Alistair Simpson version so I'm happy to admit I'm probably in a minority in preferring the Scott one, watched it's a wonderful life once and enjoyed it but it is a bit long and drags a bit early on and is a bit Americany. Never got the hype over die hard, haven't seen the others.

I got moved to the back row of the gallowgate which was the new 'singing section' in our first season back up under Rafa. One or two of them on sershul media were always pretty full on about how much they loved and supported the club yet I was always alone after KO for about five to ten minutes and similarly after HT as well as they loved their overpriced bottles of whatever they were drinking more. Also recall a prominent Tory, hairy cornflake look-a-like who was near me one game who was never off his phone. (Looked like he was having the time of his life at the match on his twitter feed after the game though).

As I'm now working Monday to Friday I'm having to put the Christmas stuff up today which has me in a slightly irritable mood as well as taking the kids to the hairdressers in North Shields as going somewhere local is just a silly thing to do, (the eldest used to go to South Shields so at least it's getting closer). The youngest one's car is fucked and someone's coming out to fix it at some point in the day as well. Hoping to have everything done in time for the match later on.

I especially love the latter as it happens but a Christmas film it ain't.

My favourite Christmas films are a Christmas carol, (George C Scott version) and errr.....? (I genuinely can't think of any others off the top of my head). I never understand how something like die hard is A. a great film, and B. a Christmas film but I'm just a simple chap.
