Trouble is the people getting shafted didn't always vote for them, I don't know the rate of the disabled who vote conservative but after experiencing how they compassionately handle that group I'd be amazed if any do unless they're related to a minted family. Other hard done by groups with any memory at all surely will either abstain through apathy or absolutely not vote tory again?

The missus usually does an online shop and I'll nip out for bits and bobs, usually at Sainsburys in Heaton, I reckon it's usually at least 90% - 95% masked people even now in there. I needed some salad so thought I'd save a car journey and just walk around the corner and go into lidl's in walkergate and apart from me there was only one other person in the shop with a mask on! That's some fucking swing with just a mile separating the shops.

It does my head in and I've got to physically stop myself rolling my eyes when my newly politicised OH goes all uber LW Corbynista on me. (And I recognised his good points but she thinks I'm pro-starmer, (I'm not particularly, I just want a labour government).

No surprise.

You really have to give credit to the power of the message that the Tories are the boys to trust when they patently aren't yet here we are. It's not even a modern phenomenon as they sold everything off years ago but the same cunts will vote them in as a few scare stories, a few union jack/our boys patter, a few Hamas/PLO/IRA terrorist sympathisers tales, anti-royal communists craic etc, etc is all it takes, absolutely nailed on to convince over half of England that they're the party for me, and no mistake! We're fucked for now, I just hope the shit sandwich we're going to be served will wake enough dinosaurs up where it makes a difference to the vote.

Should've ended the speech, paused then said "..... I'll get me coat."

I don't expect her own opinion but expect her own opinion as journalist or at least add to Johnson's soundbites by saying others dispute it.
-
Ok, change 'claims' for 'says' then pick the bones out of it, if that's not her job what is? Johnson's press secretary?
-
Plenty of 'Boris Johnson says' in her tweets and not a lot of, (any?) 'I think' in them.

Lady Haw-Haw isn't helping the BBC's cause.

But the other lot support the woke, Taliban, lesbian, benefits scroungers, EU, but they hate our boys and the queen. (Or words to that effect).

NUFC are torn about this, on the one hand, it might get the capacity up and get more fans in, on the other hand, crowds are nosediving anyway, plus it'll be cheaper tickets and they'll have to pay someone to remove the old seats as the fans here aren't gullible enough to do it for them. -
Never heard of the cunt, err, I mean RIP.

Now funny enough, there was no mention of that.

BBC business news this morning, tech investment into UK TWICE as much as France and Germany combined!!! They then balanced the good news by following that up with an interview with a yank about the GLOBAL energy problem and supplies full stop saying that it's exacerbated in the UK by our HGV supply problem. Early in the morning but I let out a little laugh.

It was all I could think of when the sandwich shop near it, option two, had too big a queue and my first option, 'Vinnies' was shut when I drove there and I had a hangover hanking for a sarnie so swallowed my pride and went in.

That wasn't it, pretty sure it was black and the graphics playing were definitely the spectrum star wars ones. Don't know when that was taken?
