  1. Ancelotti sussed them out and couldn't fuck off sooner, he must be gutted he's not at turf moor tonight instead of beating Chelsea.
  2. Real Madrid go 3-1 up at Chelsea, total fuck up by the keeper and score flatters Chelsea. Hoddle and 'Fletch' almost in tears.
  3. 'Now angry at Sam Fender' in the thread title.
  4. He's such a transparent cunt but these know their audience.
  5. 'We're hosting Elton John in June!' Is there no end to the absolute tragedy of mackems making tits of themselves? Imagine giving a fuck about which musician is having a concert in your town as a one up with your (geographic) rivals? (And the musician you showcase is Elton John). For their own safety and sanity they need to stay where they are for another few years at least and hopefully the penny will finally not only have dropped but they'll have started to accept it and I guess that's why they call it the blues.
  6. "So join me, Andy Dawson, on atletico mince! You all know know Bob Mortimer, right? Well I'm not him but I apparently work alongside side him on occasions. Yes folks, you can't miss me or be unsure who I am, it's Andy Dawson!"
  7. I'm willing to support Sunderland for the few hours of a Sam Fender concert on behalf of any angst ridden mackems for £50 so they can attend it guilt free. I'll not actually go to their games for those few hours but watch or listen to NUFC matches instead or any other games that take my fancy so I'll be an authentic MLF. £50 any mackems reading this, £50 for a guilt free gig. PM me interested.
  8. I think it's called 'Quest'? As in a quest to get out of the 3rd division.
  9. I'm sure there's some obscure channel that puts league one games on 'legitimately'? It'll be somewhere next to bid-up TV and QVC.
  10. Oxford now getting beat. I'm not commenting any further.
  11. As things stand *at the minute* and I had a look at their next match which is away at Oxford United. Things heating up in division three. Exciting times.
  12. Plans like this seemed to be leaked almost annually in the hope the flak isn't too bad. A bit like the Tory party the last few years.
  13. He looked a million miles offside v Blackpool which was a game I was at but didn't get to the Everton one. The little quip about fans who weren't at the games wasn't aimed at you by the way, Craig! When I posted it I realised it might come across a bit like that but was more an in-joke at CT, (don't know if you were still in TT exile at the time of the 'trudging through the eighties' line?) and others on twitter who talk shite who blatantly weren't there.
  14. I'd taken a nights holiday, went out on the piss and started the match thread in a piss taking fashion so a hammering at Tottenham was almost an inevitability so get your vibes.
  15. Mirandinha was loved from the off because he was a Brazilian international who'd just scored at Wembley v England not that long ago when he signed for us and the idea of having a Brazilian international striker playing not just in the England but actually playing in England* for us was fucking dizzy! I think everyone just wanted him to be brilliant and despite the odd rocket shot and goal, (scoring at old Trafford and getting a winner at anfield), he was really in the wrong league and a bit ball greedy, but he was our ball greedy Brazilian international so he'd get serenaded regardless. (Sometimes 'we've got Mirandinha/not from Argentina' but more often than not just the simple 'olé, olé, olé, olé Mirandinha' song which only people who trudged through the eighties and actually went to the games seem to remember whereas those who didn't bring up the former chant only. *Bits were made of this at the time in the media and it wasn't ignored but it would've been a lot more of a big deal if he'd signed for Liverpool, Man U, Spurs etc so same as it ever was.
