A fine will DEFINITELY deter clubs who had money BEFORE 2023 to keep their houses in order. Anyone else? Sorry but a points deduction will be the absolute best and only deterrent. -

Getting CL this season wouldn't be as great an accomplishment this season as it was the first time he did it IMO.

I couldn't remember the Sunderland manager's name but I'm expected to know who some actor was from Hollyoaks?

I've no idea what he's on but it frees it up.

If we get the offer we seemingly have for Miggy the club will do what they think is best and they usually do ok, fwiw, I'll be amazed if they don't sell him, take the transfer fee and use his wages for somebody else either now or summer whichever works out the best for availability.

We'll have done well getting CL football considering our start, we're on a very good run but have to keep it going and pray nothing happens to Alexander the great. Had we started like this and kept it going more or less we'd have a decent outside shout at the title but there's zero chance we're doing it this season. IF fifth gets you CL football we've still got to be on it as I can't see Man City being shit all season, Chelsea are a team in transition with some talent who are hot and cold in the same match, forest I feel will carry on picking up points but do think they'll start to stumble a bit the nearer the finishing line comes close, (we did, somehow finishing 4th instead of 3rd where we really should've finished that year gifting it to Ten Bob's side who weren't as good as our side). Whether Forest have enough points in the bag to accommodate their inevitable wobble who knows? The current top six are going to be the final top six IMO it's just one team is going to miss out on the CL. I'd be surprised if that team is the blue mancs.

Of course not. Can you imagine the following.... 'Pep, great win, are you resigned to losing Haaland?' 'Arne, great win, are you resigned to losing Salah?' 'Sir Alex, great win, are you resigned to losing Ruud Van Nistelrooy?' 'Arsene, great win, are you resigned to losing Dennis Bergkamp?' 'Roger, great win, are you resigned to losing Luke O'Nien?" -

"Welcome to Thunderous Thursday, 'United'© looking to move up to 12th place tonight at Old Trafford, the theatre of dreams against..... Hang on a minute.....[presenter checks notes]..... Southampton! They're playing Southampton so should be a win for 'United'©. Jamie, are they a bit short up front and do you think Alexander Isak would help them to challenge again?" -

It's basically because they just can't get away with such a good player not playing for one of their boys. That's it. -

"Eight consecutive wins for Newcastle putting them up to fourth. Jamie, how close is Ruben Amorim to turning it around and getting 'United'© challenging for champions league football?"- 416 replies

Sky sports news top news story at the top of the hour is sound bites from 14th placed Man Utd manager's press conference for their game TOMORROW with 20th placed Southampton. Going to go all MLF on yo asses here but just for one nano second, imagine Arsenal are about to play Spurs in a London derby trying to keep in touch with leaders Liverpool, Newcastle United are looking to go fourth just behind potentially Arsenal and Forest. Moyes is managing Everton for the first time in over a decade and this was happening TONIGHT. Then imagine if Palace were 14th instead and playing 20th placed Southampton tomorrow. I'm guessing the Palace manager's press conference might not, (just bear with me here), might not be the top news story? Just a hunch, like. -

Is it a new type of newspaper puzzle? -
The bar was so low for Hayden that just being a good lad with a good attitude who was prepared to get stuck in gave him some brownie points particularly in the championship. Put it this way, swap the shirts on him with a Sunderland shirt and they'd be calling him a future England captain but that's just their way. Anyway, the fault of him being still on our books lies 100% with the Ashley regime.

It needs said because I know there'll be some fucking dipshits turning up at SJP sitting on their hands expecting an easy win.
