I'd forgotten about that cunt. Steve Coleman's still around on smooth on a morning but has ditched his metro 'Yooooooohooooooo' chant/phrase.

I watched the match sober as a judge, no way were we far better. We were better in the second half but both sides cancelled each other out really and we were on the front foot a lot more but France scored two great goals from their POV and we were fortunate they gifted us a couple of pens. They edged it attacking wise as they had the extra bit of quality but had Kane equalised who knows how it pans out? It is about small margins and a lot of neutrals would have the winners of this tie going on to win it but again, as has been mentioned, I sometimes think the killer instinct isn't quite there yet with the national side. People say the winning sides find a way but I sometimes think England find a way not win even when they're winning in the big games deep into tournaments. Southgate's done as well as I think he can, he's been around these players for years and early on there was a lack of hype which helped so I wouldn't really call him at all but at the same time you'd be amazed if he ended up at a Liverpool, Man City etc.

There's an even bigger one in Boldon.

Anyway, if NUFC get beat in a tight QF I'm gutted but it's England so it's a slight shrug of the shoulders. They get past these and they've a great chance of winning the thing but they've just been a bit short tonight. Their defenders gave us a chance tonight and we didn't take it.
-
Who knows but I do know Giraud is favourite to get a header in against those two in my opinion as he's better than them.
-
He had to take it, like. Imagine someone else takes it and misses? Everyone would be thinking why the fuck didn't Kane take it? Just one of those things.
-
Honestly not hindsight, I said to the bairn I'd back Giroud to beat our CB's to a header pre-game. They scored two goals from open play and we got lucky with them giving away two stupid pens. No shame in losing as we gave them a game but there was little fluidity I thought especially first half.
-
I always thought Giroud would be a threat with his presence and his ability to win a header, great ball in and he does the business. Strange game, I thought England were shit first half with the ball but they put it right in the second, their bit of class was the difference, fantastic first goal which Pickford should maybe have done a bit better on and a great second, France gave us a chance with some very dodgy decisions which they didn't need to do at the back. Really didn't fancy Kane with the second, he just didn't look right.

Looks like an uncompromising and unconventional detective in a new Portuguese crime drama on BBC 4. Unlucky, I'm missing the Sheffield Wednesday game because it's the wife's birthday as I mentioned the other day.

Renton Shipman killing off the elderly, disgraceful.
-
He dug a hole for himself saying he'd love to hear Nigel's thoughts then realised what he'd done and tried to backpedal. Btw, the lass footballer and also the presenter .....

How dare you forget Su Pollard and her fabulous hit record? She's still alive isn't she?

A lot will depend on who gets the shirt deal after castore get binned but if it was Adidas or Nike, who I believe own umbro, then there's no reason they couldn't release some absolute NUFC classics complete with logo. They'd absolutely sell.

Either you do a proper retro shirt or you don't. The club once did a retro shirt based on the 74 shirt but put the current crest on it instead instantly dooming it as I can't recall seeing anyone ever wearing it. I think the club are massively missing a trick not expanding the retro range with either score draw or toffs.

It'll never catch on.

It's Neymar hyperbole time now as in he makes a five yard pass and it's the equivalent to the Cruyff turn according to twit and twat on the mic. Croatia score!
-
The Croatian striker sending a couple of theirs for a hotdog before squaring to his mate who skied it not getting the appreciation it deserves iyam?
-
Forgot about him. Couldn't he go from 'magic' Johnson to 'Tragic' Johnson and back and forth in the space of 45 mins? (So basically like all their managers?)
-
Only a question of time before the word 'party' is put in front of 'food bank' by these cunts
-
I can, I think...... Jack Ross, Tony Mowbray, someone O'Neill, somebody Parkinson and Chris Coleman?
-
They're such, how can I say it? Cunts. Yes, cunts.

My main gripe about that shirt is that it was the first Newcastle United home shirt that didn't have just the stripes on the back and as far as I'm concerned that is sacrilege, Diego. -

Can't remember that but I've blocked a lot of that shite out tbh. He looked excellent for la coruña but was signed by Shepherd for Souness who hadn't a fucking clue about anything including his signing which is one of the few things I believe when Souness talks about his time at NUFC. -

One of the worst shirts we've had, the player wasn't much better. Any Spanish wonder signing we make in the future has to incorporate the words 'Albert Luque wrapped it up' into a song about them or the chanters are shit and can only copy other club's songs. -
Bloodstained gold. (The gadgie presenting it had a paper cut but didn't realise).
