  1. There's only one club he'd go to now, the club that would pay the cash and need him the most, Man United. They have a history of getting top strikers from other 'top' English clubs and this falls into that bracket. You'd hope that although he will undoubtedly make them better it might be a case of the rest of their squad suffering from the reduced money available to strengthen if they pay top dollar for Kane. Top heavy up front, weaker elsewhere especially if injuries kick in and the amazing coach ETH plays him to death when they're in the latter stages of all comps.
  2. The year before they won the league their attendances were pitiful for a supposedly big club. Low crowds were across the board but they're so big and historical I would've thought they should've had a few more in than they did. Maybe they're just full of shit or young'uns laying claim to a decent team they weren't even born to see.
  3. TBD, you are spoiling us with your grandad story.
  4. The second time I went to goodison I didn't have a ticket and had to sit roughly where the away fans are now, I was spoilt for choice as apart from the entire end behind the goal being sold out to our fans the rest of the ground, including where I was, was almost half full. 25,000 including at least four thousand of us on a Saturday afternoon in the PL but let's talk about a less than full away end a decade into Ashley's tenure on a midweek game. Let's also not bother mentioning their away ends up here that haven't been sell outs during midweek. Strange bunch at times these. Amnesia FC.
  5. Aye, I've been off today and partly still on a high and partly curiosity have been scouring the clips of yesterday and today from YouTube etc from all and sundry, from US PL shows to listening to Waddle virtually bubbling on the 5live commentary to sky sports news chumps and the goons from talksport and Jena's and co. Honestly it's been 99% about how Tottenham are which has me wandering if it would've been the same response and coverage if yesterdays match was at anfield or old Trafford and spurs lost by the same scoreline? As bad as we were at villa park last week you still had to give huge credit to the beige cunts and Emery otherwise you end up being like these entitled cunts and their media chums who just find it impossible to do anything other than look for reasons why their carefully constructed 'big 6' teams might not be all that? Fuck 'em. Honestly disgraceful the lack of credit we've just had yesterday and today and yes, I didn't give a shiny shite about it yesterday but some of these media people need to step back from their arselicking duties and realise there's a whole big league out there away from their darlings.
  6. Did Dawnee edit to make them look small time the fucking mag bitch?!?!
  7. "We will soon be releasing findings....." Hark at Hercewal Marra-oit. Last time I heard anything as tragic as this was when a bloke got home to discover his wife and kids died in an explosion in Afghanistan. The utter, utter sad bastard's. That Bilbao tweet not mentioning Sunderland must have been like a knife through the heart for the, literally, four or five members of the 'Bilbao black cats' There's long dead Greek tragedy poets turning in their graves thinking 'how the fuck do we compete with that tragedy?' Fucking hell man, give it up, enjoy living out there, crack on with the locals without having to engineer one over the mags, it makes you look like this year's winner of the Gimp's Gimp competition.
  8. 'Its an actual real live Sheila!'
  9. I'd almost forgotten that, that also helped them massively as it got the crowd hot and bothered, broke up the play when we looked pretty comfortable against them.
  10. I think Smith or the commentator raved about joelinton and put it down to the great coaching he's had which was almost a eureka moment if they had've realised what went before that great coaching, who was responsible and how much they praised the person responsible for the non-existent coaching. So Smith or the commentator, close but no cigar.
  11. It isn't really one of us on here, is it? If it is, sorry mate......
  12. Hope Eddie and the players remember last season's game where we had the beating of them but didn't punish them and let them grow into the game where their desperate tackling and fouling paid off. No fucking about this time.
  13. If nothing else it's a distraction they/we don't need.
  14. I wouldn't want our players being Southgated tbh even if that's a bit selfish.
  15. I'm nervous because it's getting to the serious end of the season. Such an important game for both sides, win it and we're surely not getting caught by these when you look at the fixtures they've got.
