What I hate is the gamesmanship that goes on in this division and how dopey referees don't spot it and allow these teams to break up play by feigning serious injury, getting play stopped then 'sportingly' humping the ball back to Tim Krul. This has to be coached into these players by the likes of Sham and Mark 'Id love to spark the cunt' 'Sparky' Hughes, as I didn't see much of it last year.

My answer would be similar to this ^ Luck very much played a part because of the risk of not coming straight back up. However we'd have continued to do nowt in the prem anyway if we'd stayed up and would have gone down eventually anyway I'm pretty convinced of that. We'd been on the decline for years. That's what could've happened, very plausible, but we could've been seriously fucked for years due to this oaf getting us needlessly relegated. Still reckon we got lucky. A clear out was needed but relegation wasn't.
