  1. What gets me is he'd have been back up in a shot spouting about how privilaged he was to be our manager.....great club....great fans...blah, blah. Does anyone think he may be a little bitter? (as well as delusional, of course!)
  2. Chronicle Should someone tell poor old joe how it really is/was and explain to him the irony of him saying we have delusions of granduer?
  3. Only on condition there's a vigilante group rounding up the charva's who turn up for their SKY sports lollypop and their five minutes of embarrassing every Mag who's unlucky enough to watch it. David Craig can be taken up the back of Leazes lane and kneecapped for crimes against Newcastle. Just a thought, don't quote me or anything.
  4. Alternatively, you are a fucking optimist and it will not be all sorted by the end of this week. (Going on Ashley's NUFC career so far I'd say the pessismists had more reason for their doubts.)
  5. Teed man, nothing you're saying makes sense man. Who the fuck wants to get a "15 minute taxi" when you can walk down one of the most beautiful streets in the country? Who the fuck wants to see the Sunderland "seaside" when there are nicer beaches further North? Who the fuck honestly believes sunderland is a better night out? If you want to sink a few pints or go grab a cocktail or enjoy an excellent meal you're sure as shit not going to find it in sunderland. Everything in sunderland is worse than anything in Newcastle. It's like comparing Aberdeen to Edingburgh, Bradford to Leeds, Milton Keynes to London. Objectively speaking Newcastle is a better city. Which is why it boiled my piss when I saw a "sunderland bid" using our landmarks, using landmarks that are nothing to do with sunderland... in fact I think the only shots of something sunderland-centric I can recall is your flatpack stadium... Doesn't that embarrass you? you've said yourself that sunderland is a poorer proposition to Newcastle, so why do you still defend this ridiculous bid? There's loyalty and then there's delusion. I dont defend it,I couldn`t care a less tbh,I dont even like international football,it`s been as boring as fuck since Gazza left the stage.why are you so hung up about it?? who gives a shit!! we`ll more than likely get it anyways.. but if you want it so bad,I suppose you`s could teach us how to stand aside the offer.. See all I can decipher from that is "You're right Fish, it's a shit bid and it is cringe-inducing." but please, tell me if I'm wrong Reet`O!!...... FFS!!! ... You're right Fish, it's a shit bid and it is cringe-inducing newcastles the biggest club in the world, their support is without doubt the best any club as ever known, the silverware they have won needs a stadium just to hold it all and peter beardsley the spitting image of Brad Pitt, have i forgot owt??? .. Fingers crossed! skintchys Yes, you forgot to prostrate yourself in front of your computer after you typed that, in reverance to your Black & White betters.
  6. That's a very cruel thing to say, the man is just doing a job, I'm sure he's not a total mockney wanka who loves himself in real life.
  7. Someone will buy this, maybe someone who is eligable to vote, even.
  8. Dont be so fucking stupid !! there`s far too many people like you, that romaticise about times gone by and how old football stadiums were so much better, etc, etc! thats hog shit, you are getting old mate and long for your youth! I`ve been to Burnden, the Baseball Ground and many, many more they were shit tips in the sixtys, they didn`t get any better as the years passed,If standing in line to use the one urinal and missing half the match, burning ya mouth on a small cup of Bovril while eating a cold pie, turns you on,go and watch none league Footy, give me the mordern stadium any day times change, you need to change with them.. You make a fair and valid point, you really do, I just think it's tosh. I'm not as old as you are by the looks of it but am glad I didn't miss the terracing and older grounds. I feel for any younger fans who missed out on some belting days when it really was buzzing, sure, I was also at games when there was sub-20K crowds as well, but the good times/games compensated for it.
  9. Roker Park was better than the Stade de Shite, by a mile. Then again, the likes of Pride Park will struggle to be as good as the Baseball Ground, and don't get me started on the Reebok compared to Burnden.
  10. You get the feeling the fat man is trying to claw back as much coin as he can, if the figure he apparently wants is £100M and he supposedly has at least two takers, then surely the process shouldn't take as long as it is? Or is he trying to be the wide fucker he thinks he is by putting some add-ons to the price by stealth? Or maybe the bidders are haggling over wether FMA gets the money upfront or in instalments, if he isn't happy about getting the money on tick then he obviously feels he shouldn't have to wait, unlike the club under him and Del boy who think its fine for us to wait for Man Citeh and Wigan to cough up for Zog and Given. For this and all other answers, don't tune in anytime soon.
  11. fuck me there goes the neigbourhood Well you shouldn't have pointed me over here, Killa, err, Paddock lad.
  12. Of course you are.... No mention of ToonAway.co.uk? I'm sorry mate but I haven't got a clue what you're going on about, whoever you think I am.........I'm not. I think you`ll find there`s far more Mags on our boards. I'll have to take your word for that.
  13. I'm new to this board, didn't know (though not surprised), that SAFC fans want to be part of anything to do with Newcastle.
  14. I can understand how much Sunderland fans will be wetting their knickers over this (friendly) game. Ajax away for a team who haven't had a sniff of Europe must be great, factor in our relegation and the fact that our friends from Wearside managed to stay in the top league and can have a laugh at our expense whilst they are a league above us for the first time in about 19 years, then, lets be honest, you can't blame them for being all excitable, still, if they're being truthful, even now, it must be freezing living in our shadow.
  15. I think I'd have more respect for Steve Cram's opinion.
  16. A non-sponsor, smaller white patch version of our new shirt from adidas's on line shop. http://shop.adidas.co.uk/product/IN187/E84...rsey/detail.jsf Better than the version the players are wearing.
  17. Does anyone have any idea where I can get my mitts on this? I followed this link, http://www.prodirectsoccer.co.uk/department.asp?DEPT=203, but can't find it anywhere. Hello, by the way. No idea anymore, not everyone on here who ordered one actually got one in the end, they ran out of stock or something not sure if any more are even being made Bugger.
