Is there any Mod who can change Kevin's avatar for him? Honestly, I'm about to have my tea and I could do without looking at it. I'm sure there's more appropriate avatars for him, somewhere.

Looks like he's on his way to Liverpool; Roy Hodgson -
She's a little cutey despite getting on a bit, (that photo must be a few years old). The bloke who she usually works with is a bit of a tit, though.

This is where we should be focussing and its about time it happened but I have a couple of reservations with the approach. Firstly, 200 new staff? it needs 2000, we have them sitting, doing nothing so lets get other civil servants in, trained and out there. 200 to cover the country only works out at 4 per county (and thats not taking into account Scotland and Wales). 4 fraud inspectors each to cover the likes of North Yorkshire? Greater London etc? My second reservation is the £50 fine regardless of size, these fines will no doubt be used to measure the performance of the respective teams. I think this will mean targetting the easy cases while the more complicated (and bigger) offenders are put to one side. What we'll get in a years time is an announcement that we've "caught 15000 extra benefit cheats" most of those will be poor blokes who've painted someones fence to get a little extra in for the Christmas dinner plate. Target the big offenders, those that sit on Incapacity without working a day in their lives, those that somehow manage to turn up at the dole in a Jag. Hit those and you'll no doubt clear up some crime statistics as well. Not sure if I agree. You can spend as much chasing welfare fraud as you save catching individuals. It's paltry sums. Corporate tax evasion is a much more costly crime, and a far more lucrative target.....but the tories have pledged a more conciliatory approach to it, relaxing regulations gladly allowing billions in tax revenue to funnel out. Look at the vodafone case, £1.25bn from a single payer....but it should have been more...they'd set aside £2.2bn. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/2bc71748-9686-11...144feab49a.html This. They're starting to get stick from the Daily Mail so they get tough with the 'scroungers' to get back onside.

The kid is obviously a fucking knob, too many times to be 'unlucky'. Seriously needs to stay off the drink if he can't handle it. The career he's got and the wedge he can make and he can't be arsed to make a few small sacrifices? What a waste.

I agree about the acting bit and the age.

Or visible in every aerial photo of the city classy, still at least you cant see it from the TV camera view eh? Nowt to get fussed about, Pud. Looks totally shit and tacky but nowt to get fussed about.

Fuck off, it's only October man. Plenty of points left, we need positivity not fucking doom and gloom. Fuck off yourself you fucking blind cunt. Positivity? we've been the better side every home game so far, it's just a pity the away teams find it so easy to score against us in their rare attacks. Seriously, we can't keep shipping goals like this, God help us when we play truly shit against any of the likely lads.

"we don't care about ashley" Really? I fucking do! He's killing this club. We're fucking down, simple as that.

Thats quite funny actually, it may well be last on MOTD, I wouldn't be personally bothered as I rarely watch it, however, as soon as SKY and ESPN announced their live games a lot of your clubs supporters started moaning their tits off about why we were on more than them (and everyone else bar Man Utd and Liverpool). SAFC will never have the pull that NUFC do. Thats just the way it is, as the song goes. Anyway, I've a feeling we'll get a draw today, we don't seem to beat Wigan for some reason. Not even half the pull. The mackems could win the league three seasons running, they could be bought out by the Pope and they could have a September 11th style attack on their ground, and they'd still be less newsworthy than we are. It's what is at the core of their complete obsession with NUFC. I don't even need to log on to RTG now to know 15 of their threads on the first three pages will have something to do with us. edit NINE on the first page alone...oh dear I thought they already had! The Pope giving mass.

Just got her 'Diva' CD the other day as I missed it first time around and I'd completely forgotten about this track which I really liked at the time. A bit of a 'Brucies Bonus' discovering it again. The CD's version is a bit longer and slightly different.

I renewed but only out of a belief that a supporters club/trust could only be beneficial in the long term. I was definitely in two minds about it though as the impression I was getting off here about 'power struggles' and also from what I was seeing, (or not seeing), from those in the hot seat meant I was reluctant about it. Still, these people got off their arses and actually attempted to do something in the first place which is why I've given them another years grace. They won't get the same next year if things are the same.

Another MB I go on has a bloke on who regularly comes out with this kind of comment, unfortunately the MB doesn't have one of these...... ........on it.

Well that is its official title now. No offence, but Mackems hated being called mackems in the not too distant past, seems it's ok for you now, I even know a couple of Sunderland fans from Leam Lane who loathe mackems which I find more than a bit strange, anyway, unlike you lot, I can't see us adapting a hated name because the rest of the country don't know where we live and care even less.
-
Remind me of what Sunderland called their new ground, again? At least we are only lumbered with ours till the man fucks off. The Sunderland Stadium Of Light, what's wrong with that, then? It's better than The Emirates, The D.W Stadium, The Reebok, SportsDirect.com@StJamesPark... Seriously, the only people who call our stadium SportsDirect.com are you fuckers and Boro. It'll never be anything other than what it is, St. James' Park. When the Del boy man fucks off it'll be officially what it is as well. What will be SAFC's new nickname be for the next decade? Will it get put to a vote like last time?

Gazza has just turned up in Chile with a chicken and a few bottles of 'Dos Equiz' as he knew the miners when they worked up in Ashington Colliery a few years back and reckons they're sound lads.

There will still be a few dotted around, I know a couple going. Thankfully I've got a ticket in our end (touch wood) so I will be fine. It is too early for a score prediction then? I'm going for a 0-1 away win. I'm not kidding myself either, it's going to be a hell of a battle but if we play our normal game for stretches of the game we should scrape it. I'm not highly confident by any means but it feels better going into this game with a decent chance of taking all 3 points, it's normally the other way around, an embarrassment at St. James' isn't easy to take. Was slightly worried about the aerial threat of Carroll at the start of the season but now I can't say I'm bothered. Bramble and Turner are superb in the air and have handled everyone so far with ease, Carroll looked extremely poor against a strong Stoke defence too. We've got pace on the break so that'll be handy against Williamson and co. How Enrique handles Elmohamady (sp) will be key, if Elmo gets his way with him you'll be in trouble, he's been superb this season. Fast as a rocket and has a wicked cross, glad we've got a permanent deal lined up for him at the end of the season as apparently other clubs have been sniffing around. So aye, 0-1 - Bent (34 mins). Predicting Bent as your goal threat - you didn't need to deal the Tarot cards to work that one out now did you? Probably be a typical nervy derby - the games you can only enjoy afterwards - sometimes. Still very sick that Hatem Benny won't be available but I think we've got enough. I'm a reasonable Mag as well. I've already sent Darren Bent a get well slowly card. And don't forget the wonders of the Shola system. Whatever his faults not scoring against the mackems isn't one of them. Home win over the undead on Halloween. It's not as if he seems any different on the pitch, more psyched up or anything, he just likes scoring against the Mackems, (Boro too, FWIW).

'Belta minge'? That's a bit sexist really don't you think? I suppose you'll like this then.......

Is that the opening gag in his stand up routine? Epitaph Tarby would be turning in his grave if he were dead. He once goosed my Mam. Claim to fame Hmmmmnn.......... You're not gap toothed by any chance, Alex? No but she did say when she turned round to see who it was he gave her that sucking a mint whilst whistling at the same time look of his as though that was meant to be a come on or something. Considering that women like a man who can make them laugh it speaks volumes he whistled at her instead.
