Will it end up like a reverse situation of the stoning in 'The life of Brian' where the blokes dress up to get in? Would you dress up as a lass to get in a Tyne & Wear derby if it happened here? There seems to be a few dodgy characters about here these days, would you dress as a woman, derby or no derby?

What if we actually won a trophy under FMA?
Howmanheyman replied to sammynb's topic in Newcastle Forum
Players come and go as do managers, some will live in the memory and be cherished, others will fade into obscurity where they belong. Ashley will just hopefully end up a mysterious shit stain that appeared on your Y fronts as a kid where you had no idea how it got there and were embarrassed it was there until it went. But the club? Ingrained into my soul forever, the games from the past, real and proper 'I was there' moments, Forest and the pitch invasion for older Mags, Pompey and David Kelly for others and many more, too many to mention. Trips away with a support whose humour, patter and full on support were second to none. Memories never to be forgotten. NUFC represents a City with an identity that few other city's can get near in my humble opinion. This club of ours should represent that and it has. Ashley is Gnats cock by comparison. -
Do you do Bar Mitzvahs, Andy? My sarcasm detector is working again I'm afraid I'm being serious!!! Haha ok sorry mate i thought it was just the usual "weddings/bar mitzvahs" joke lol I haven't done one tbh but I don't see why not... Can u PM me the details? Its nothing concrete yet, it's for my mate. He's not actually Jewish but is a real tight fisted wanker. (Took you fucking long enough to bite!!!)

Same here. Don't find it as easy to casually bar-/restaurant-hop like you might over here, for example (or elsewhere in the States, for that matter - Nashville was brilliant for that). But it might be a question of knowing the right areas - you can easily have a massively shit time in London if you don't know where to go, say. That must be where I come in. The times I've been there I've never seen what the fuss is about and in actual fact I can't stand the place.

Its going to happen, Rob!

To be fair to him he also said the police were entirely responsible for the deaths at Hillsborough for failing to close the tunnel through to the centre pens before opening the gate. They were only interested (and listened) to the 'scrapping terraces' bit, mate. Aye, they were... but he wasn't. Dunno if you've read the reports he did but all seater stadia was only one of many recommendations that he made. They carefully ignored the rest. Used to come watch the matches as SJP as well, did he not? Well my retired librarian aunt knew him, don't know if he went to the games. He also said it shouldn't be used as an excuse to raise the prices when the converted stands from terraces came into effect. Yeah right!

Talking of honours, Justice Taylor recommended all seater stadia to parliament to which they passed a law making it so and Taylor very soon afterwards becomes Lord Taylor of Gosforth.

Nailed on to beat them in my opinion. Stoke away to you after a hard game in Kiev? Plus you lot under pressure for a win? It was a home banker all day.

There was too much of a coincidence of the then Tories propaganda sheet for the masses, (The Sun/News of the World) coming out with their vile, totally fabricated tales for someone somewhere not to have encouraged it. Anyone hear Kelvin McKenzie talking about the Miners strike? He was like a fan telling of how his side beat a derby opponent back in the day, his shit impression of a Union Rep not being happy about something in his old Fleet Street plant spoke volumes. In short a total cunt who went out of his way to get his staff to dig as much dirt on the Miners and then obviously the football supporters of this country. Probably fancied a nice profitable career working for Murdoch and hopefully getting a tap on the shoulder in his old age from The Queen when a Tory PM would no doubt remember his services to the party. They were rife for it. Leon Brittain got involved with some in fighting with Heseltine over a Helicopter contract involving a British company called Westland and eventually took the fall for Maggie in the mid eighties when she was under pressure. A few years later he was knighted. A few years after that he was made a Baron! I think I'll get into politics one day, I'll grease a few palms, scratch a few backs, and Voilà ! I'm the Lord Of Walker.
-
I think you're right. But then that idiot downgraded other things like the honours listings too. Am I right in thinking the last (and possibly only) PM to have a state funeral is Churchill?WTF has she done that would have been deserving of that? She was great on Spitting Image and err, ........?
-
There was talk of a State Funeral for her when Tone was PM IIRC.

His biggest asset is he doesn't realise just how limited, (I'm being nice), he is and he plugs away till he eventually gets one. He'll probably be our top scorer.

My late Granny met The Iron Lady on a field where she landed in a helicopter in the eighties, (This was on an estate in Belfast), and she thought she was very nice. I loved my Granny, she was very, very funny and a total entertainer. She got it wrong that day, though.

I once worked with an ex Navy man who discovered an old tunnel near a beach in Bulgaria, he and another holidayer fetched a torch and followed the tunnel till they found armoured personnel carriers and tanks which he reported to the MoD when he returned. He also claimed to have volunteered his services to the MoD a few days after the Twin Towers attack "In case the balloon went up" as he could pass "for one of the Beggars!". He was half Indian from London originally with a Squadron Leader type of voice and he spent nearly twenty years working by himself in the Boiler house before being transfered to work in my Department and he had twenty years worth of tales to tell and by Christ did he tell them! He came to my eldest daughters christening and my wife and her family were just about ready to kill him whereas me and my lot saw the funny side and took him with a pinch of salt. He was called 'Mac'.

Unfortunately Dean couldn't be present to give you his online formation as he's currently designing an eclectic patio-steps out-of-a-back-door-to-the-garden project, however he has passed on his good wishes to everyone at Toontastic and sent a pic from his actual location on how he sees Pardew's formation to take out Forest from the cup.
-
Tricky one for our manager, he has to try and leave one or two out just to avoid potential injury problems which could fuck our squad but on the other hand we've surely got to actually have a serious go at winning a trophy and assuming we're not going to win the league anytime soon, then this and the FA cup have got to be our, err, cup finals. Unless supporters feel going out early with only half your first team present just so you can finish 11th is the stuff of every schoolboys dreams? Rest a couple at the most. I want to see black & white ribbons on a cup this year for a change.

My mate got lifted at that game for going on the pitch, another bloke we were with jumped off a fence and fucked his back, he got stretchered around the peremiter of the pitch as wor end were singing 'if you're proud to be Geordie....' and as he was lying in agony still managed to clap his hands in time to the chant. Proper Walker Dan, that lad! Also took a metal sign from the wall with a 'you are being watched by CCTV at Brammal Lane' on it back to a bar in Walkergate.

When a policeman can watch and see people suffocating and be in a dilemna on how he should act then you have to question the way in which he was trained and how it was no doubt hammered into him how a supporter was to be controlled and treat.

Is the honest, right answer I'd expect from you.

Although he wasn't sports minister in 1985, Colin Moynihan was in 1988 when England had that riot in Dusseldorf a riot involving 5000 people which lasted 8 hours, the German authorities ALL to a man said the trouble was instigated and largely caused by the krauts and the dutch, yet Moynihan wanted England thrown out of the tournament and out of Italia 90 because of it. They have always wanted to demonise football fans as scum of the earth. HMHM you're completely right in what you say, and in a country which has told the whole world for centuries, we are the last bastion in fairness, in openness, and anti-propganda ethics, then what Thatcher did with Hillsborough, The Miners Strike and other occurances of the time, manipulating the media as part of this, was absolutely no different to how the much scolded Soviet Union media function "TASS" was managed by the polit bureau and KGB. Unfortunately, Moynihan attended a Millwall v NUFC game where he witnessed a big window at the Den get smashed by supporters he stressed were not Millwall fans but NUFC supporters. You're spot on regarding his comments about the trouble in Germany, he and his party wanted us out of it, in fact they were pissed off the UEFA ban on English clubs didn't include the national side. Luton's chairman was a Tory MP so no surprise that the crawling bastard had his club ban away fans and introduce an ID card to get in. The same MP later called anyone on the dole a 'scrounger'.

NUFC, proud sponsors of SportsDirect.com I honestly wouldn't give the man the steam off my shit let alone a single penny more.

What a wanker, basically. Everytime Llambias opens his trap the 'poor Mike' patter is usually bound to follow, top businessman? Like you say, If Marks and Spencer has a bad year and gets bad press and customer complaints the last thing their PR man will do will be to take a hissy fit at reporters and their customers about it.
