  1. No, you're being a contrary prick is what you're doing. If i was be being contrary, there are 25 million easier ways to do it.
  2. This for me is all I needed to read. All I think anyone needs to understand. Anyone who it buying any of the shite being sent out via the club/press etc and actually buying it should read and remember this top line first. Then read it again. Think its the only time they have done it? I think not. Bloke doesn't deserve to set foot in the north east let alone our club. That's a quote from Keegan and not the Tribunal. You should read the actual Tribunal findings. Does the tribunal contradict anything in that statement? Just saying if you want to know the full picture you need to read the actual findings. That quote in particular can easily be take wildly out of context.

  4. What the fuck are you on about you spacker*? sorry internet doesn't come with sock puppets, I can't say it any simplier. How exactly have the fans been taken into account? You were expecting a full and detailed run down of the claims and finding to be published straight away, if ever? I thought we'd hear the outcome and be left with press gossip.

  6. Don't fool yourself thinking he wasn't after 25m, he decided not to argue the case after his claim of £8m wages was rejected because termination grounds were explicity defined in his contract. The board even went on record saying he'd have lost it anyway! The only people who come out of this positivly are the fans who for once have not been ignored, full credit to the Premier League.
  7. Read the article divvies...
  8. yeah, he won the constructive dismissal case, as he had a clause saying if he was sacked he'd only get 2m - that's what he was awarded. He was suing for 25m.... Sad f**k will probably have spent more in legal fees.
  9. I'm pissed at Keegan and Ashley et al. Dragging it out for a year while keeping a wall of silence is disrespectful to the fans. As we don't know the full facts we can only asume based on the brief statements and gossip that Keegan walked because two players were signed without his knowledge or consent. If true, I'm not sure how signing two trivial players made his job untenable, he doesn't have to play them. Martin Jol had Bent (£15m) signed without his input, he just didn't play him. If Levy knew what he was doing he'd have sacked Comolli when things went wrong instead of Jol. As for Wise, signing Xisco and Nacho was not reason enough for him to get the boot, especially not in September. I ask my manager for things all the time and he does the complete opposite. Signing me up for all sorts of crap, but i can't up and walk out. Things don't always go your way Kev and you signed up knowning you'd have a DoF. The club is bigger than anyone one person.

  11. The guys lashed out at someone who lunged into him, so what. As an isolated insident it's bad, but the Arsenal players were out to get him and have the cheek to winge when he bites!
  12. ...and how do the other teams injury record fair against ours? not to mention ticket prices...! Ashley has stripped the club well past balancing the books.
  13. I'm just waiting for Ashley to start selling off parts of the stadium.

  15. All the papers seem to be running with Bolton want him on loan, nothing from the Newcastle side. I can't see any players leaving on loan.
  16. I doubt £10m is the stumbling block, the reduction in overdraft from £40m to £10m would be a bigger issue.
  17. Unless they play with a larger goal he's got no chance of netting 20 goals.
  18. I don't care who come in. My only concern is who leaves and who's the manager.
  19. hmmm.... I still blame Derek and Wise more than Ashley for the relegation. They did an awful job in the January window. They could easily have lined up a swap for Given with Citeh and dont get me started on Nolan. As for Ashley, in May he said he wanted to sell at a massive financial loss, I took that on face value so couldn't understand what else people wanted him to do. Two months of total neglect has changed that view. Read the comments before my first post. It's f*ckwit fans that go from one extreme to the next that give this club the bad name it has today, they are duluded muppets. What the hell did they expect him to achieve with the tripe we have in an imposible situation. His quotes are quite reserved given the way we threw him back on the scrap heap. +don't get me wrong, I don't want him back... just didn't like the comments I read.
  20. Pretty much everything at every level was wrong at Newcastle when he came in, this was compounded by the owner/chairman not taking any steps to correct it, which is why every manager on the planet turned it down before JFK was asked. Some of the main pressures he had to work under; * He only had a short term contract, so had no power or respect the job should have come with. * The club was for sale. The uncertain future would have made motivating/galvanising the squad very hard. * Fan/player bemusement at his appointment. Most said 'who?'. * Everyone wanted Keegan back and thought his appointment was ridiculous and very temporary. * Constant media ridcule (e.g. saying he turned up to train when the players were off). * The squad was tiny injury ridden squad that had no creativity. The list goes on, but my point is he took on a job no f*cker would, so show him a bit of respect.
