Eh? The CPU benchmark shows the i3 is almost twice as good as the AMD. The i3 also has double the disk size, which is quite important as the prices have tripled in the last two weeks and dont look like coming down. Dont bother getting a graphics card you dont need. That card is only £40 on Amazon. My media center has a Gigabyte motherboard and the onboard graphics can play 1080p and supports hardware acceleration. I'd give them a call to check the spec as the spec and overview dont match (1tb vs 500gb and gigabyte vs asus).

benchmark isnt even close. What's the price difference? Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz = 4097 AMD Phenom II X2 565 3.4GHz = 2250

His error was never buying players, but paying them silly money. Players need to earn there contracts.

Surprised there's no mention of Hamann.

What did you have in mind? I think your boss would be open to you switching departments. You could use the unsociable hours as a good reason. Maybe you could swap with someone in the department she worked got the four replacements from? If you live in a small town, work will be very thin on the ground. But you need to make sure you are happy, send your CV out. It really sounds like McDonalds would be easier. -
A couple of injuries and we're undone

Harpers off to Brighton for a month

Perhaps we need another quality CD in Jan rather than a striker.

Overly harsh comments on Williamson, not the best, but more than adequate cover. Simpson, Raylor arent good enough 1st team players, so a fullback should be top priority, closely followed by another forward as Lovelyhands and Shola arent good enough cover. -
Adebayor rumoured to be on the bench. I reckon that'll make a big difference. Without him they arent half as dangerous.
-
Worthington quit, maybe he'll come out of hiding.

Every time i see this thread i think oh no he's injured again....

Seems odd people talking about Windows vs OSX, when buying hardware. You can buy a "Windows" laptop and installl MAC and vice versa.
-
unless you do high end graphics or gaming, its not worth the extra.
-
MACs are aimed at graphic designers, so thats why they do an 8GB model. You wont need anywhere near that spec. You wont notice the difference between 2.0ghz and 2.2ghz - hardly anything. I would highly suggest not much paying the Apple price tag. Just get any dual core, 4GB laptop for £300 and install OSX.

Will they get compo for being locked up for four years on weak evidence?

Poll results so far show half the fans are stupid. We played Nicky Butt in centre midfield and lost 2-nil, all while the fans chanted "Taxi for Roeder". 2011 is a country mile ahead. All the deadwood's contracts are up in the summer. Sure we are missing a striker and fullback. But that's a much better position than having a squad full of overpaid want-away shite.
-
As do we. Pretty sure Bartons lack of appearances played a part in the salary offer he was given.
-
Yeah. Not exactly, but there'd be less expectation. Isn't that the point? Its the same as the fullback position. We needed a player, we sold one, got one in, and still need one more. Only difference with the striker situation is the player we sold was for an absolute fortune and was replaced for nothing. If you believe (as I do) that we're operating on a 'one out one in' principle, then Carroll was replaced by Ba. Which means unless the likes of Lovenkrands, Ranger or (please God) Ameobi get transferred in Jan, there's little prospect of seeing a new striker this season. In the summer Smith, Guthrie and I think Loven's contracts are up which gives more headroom. If we were serious about kicking on we'd recruit a new striker, CB and RB but presumably that would shoot the wage bill/budget to shit so I doubt we'll see anything in Jan, especially if the current rate of progress is maintained. Which is a crying shame. Honestly we're a couple of players away from being a decent side. Yep. I agree. Unfortunately I also agree that we have a 1 in, 1 out policy. Colo will be gone by next Summer imo as well which will be big boots to fill. I think the policy is gear toward the wage bill rather than a body count.

I thought Simpson looked weaker the Raylor today.

The current PL naming rights range from about £1m a year (Stoke, Bolton, Wigan) to £10m a year (Man City). Arsenal are getting £100m over fifteen years. Where NUFC fit on that scale is open for debate but it has to be more than the sfa we are reputedly getting now. Maybe he should charge himself about £5 Mill a year eh? Would that make everyone happy ??? On the other hand he could also start to charge interest on his loans, that'd probably be about £9-£10 Mill a year, club'd be £5Mill worse off. Or maybe we should forget the cost of advertising and continue not to pay interest eh? You can't look at this shit in isolation. That's a weak argument at best. The debt the club had and it's on going financial losses were reflected in the sale price. £134 million wouldn't be enough to build half the stadium let alone buy the players or build a customer base more loyal than Apple. Look at the sign and have a word. It's not an argument, it's a fact. and in no way shape or form is it a "defence". The club owes him a large wedge, interest on that wedge could reasonably be about £10 Mill (it used to be £7mill on the original debt) and yet there's outrage about payment (or not) of advertising fees. It's simple income versus expenditure. If he pays advertising fee's that's great, if he doesn't, so what, he "could" charge the aforementioned interest, but as yet he hasn't. In ground advertising is coppers in comparison to the interest we could be paying. To deride him for not paying "the going rate" is ridiculous whilst ignoring or not acknowledging the other. The sign is irrelevant. Look at just about every ground in the Prem, plastered to fuck with logo's. The Emirates one at Arsenal lights up, but that of course is different As I posted elsewhere in a similar discussion, if he changed the colour of the paper towels in the bogs there'd be uproar. If it was a "sexy" logo from a totally independant company, would anyone complain, would they fuck. Would they get it for free? People have issue with his company plastering their logo everywhere on the cheap, all while we are told prudence is vital to us breaking even and making us a viable business. I can assure you if we he had invested the correct amount in the first team each season there would be a lot less people arsed about the name or logo change.
