  1. Demba is great but would rather have Carroll.

    Demba Ba

I've no problem with him having a release clause. He's gone to the ACN and is clearly enjoying his football here. He's going no where.
  3. A very long winded way of saying we have to two shit fullbacks and no cover for Ba. FYI, Ba is the Carroll replacement we were promised.
  4. Would like a young-ish up and coming CB to push/cover Williamson tbh The general rule of thumb is two players in every position. If Kadar isnt even in contention, we do need a fourth. But that's not a high priority in January as it wont effect the starting eleven and they are unlikely to hit the ground running.
  5. I dont see the reason for panic. If this seasons objective was a top 10 finish. We are doing pretty well. With regards to transfers - January isnt a good time to buy unless they are in the final year of their contract or the selling team has a replacement lined up. In my opinion we are only desperate for a full back. Hopefully it will be Cissokho. Wingers arent my biggest concern as i feel a decent fullback will improve our wing play.
  6. Do YOU think we will replace Carroll with a suitable quality replacement to play alongside Ba ? Answer the question, which is directly related to the thread title. isnt Ba his replacement?
  7. they dont look too impressed.
  8. Ivory Coast have already told Chelsea they want Drogba two weeks before the start. I imagine Tiote will be the same.
  9. Tiote has been very heavy footed in the last two games. It reminds me of the start of the season and he was doing Ramadan. Something is on his mind. maybe he realises being on a six year deal means he's isnt going to get a payrise unless he moves. Vuckic has been on man-u's radar since for a few years now. clicky. But, they rarely buy players in January.
  10. I'm not doing too well on that front clicky
  11. If I went to a meeting, didnt like someone and called them whats been said, I would be sacked. Davies is saying its complex, how the fuck is it. Its pretty black and white for me. The context is completely different. Had he said it in the tunnel it would be similar, but it wasn't its was said on the pitch in a heated conversation to a player who isn't exactly a saint. clicky Saying "shut up little black man" repeatedly is unacceptable and he's been fined and given a 8 game ban. It's not racism. Not even close tbh. Culturally its akin to saying "shut up ginge". Context and intent is everything. Are you on smack? I'm not defending it, just saying anyone thinking the punishment to was too light is taking it out of context. He used a racist language in a heated moment. That doesn't make him a racist. just ignorant. Oh bless him. So if I kicked off in a meeting and called someone a black cunt I can use that as my argument? If youre a racist you wouldnt mention their skin, race or ethnic background at all. A SHIT argument Phil, SHIT Your clearly getting swept up in an emotive subject. Context and intent is everything. Your meeting analogy is irrelevant. The only similarity is the racist language. Repeating the irrelevant meeting analogy show your a bit slow.

  14. What a wormy club. They should accept the charge and say it was in the heat of the moment.
  15. Elf Home alone 1 & 2 Bad Santa Die Hard 1 & 2 Santa Clause the movie
  16. Two of their best three chances on goal were heavily influenced by poor defending from Perch. And that's in a game where he had bugger all to do. He didn't do anything. I dont remember them having much. Routledge playing the ball across the box and Sinclair taking on Simpson were the only two chance on MOTD. Neither defensive errors or anything Perch could do. Fashionable to boo players like Perch, Obertan and Shola - all while Tiote has a shocker.
  17. He didn't do anything. He won a fair few headers and cut a couple of important through balls. Credit where its due.
  18. 20m is good value. Have you seen how many sitters darren bent has missed?
  19. Nice squad player. Clearly wants more than peanuts. best for all if he moves on.
  20. Ben Arfa can play left wing. Obertan plays right wing. As has been said, Shola came on for Ben Arfa at half time against Chelsea and gave the team height upfront. Pardew clearly tells the players if they play well their kept in the team.
  21. like relegation ? And still waiting for a european qualification via league position ? Well done. sacking SBR was much much lower than relegation. where did we finish in the 2nd division/championship, after "Shepherd" sacked SBR, as he was running the club all on his own with less than 30% of the shares ? Have we all blinked and missed something I think you have. "et al" is latin for and others.
